Mythical Games has disclosed the impending closure of Blankos Block Party on PC. In preparation for the shutdown the team have announced the game will be transitioning to mobile. Mythical Games is also releasing one final Blanko NFT of the PC era. With Blanko Bucks set to be deprecated as a payment method on December 6th, the release targets users with surplus Blanko Bucks in their accounts. While all Blanko NFTs, including the forthcoming 'Third Kind Blanko: One of a Kind,' will seamlessly transfer to the new mobile version, the discontinuation of Blanko Bucks prompts Mythical Games to introduce a new currency to comply with app store regulations.

Scheduled for release on October 19th at a cost of 1000 Bucks ($10 dollars), the final Blanko NFT comes with optional accessories: the Multifunctional Sensor and Visual Projection Unit, available for purchase at 400 and 600 Bucks, respectively. Mythical Games CEO John Linden explained the move to mobile, citing the high costs of PC acquisition. Blankos Block Party will integrate into the Mythical Marketplace, an established trading hub for other mobile titles like NFL Rivals and Nitro Nation World Tour.  Known for the Mythical Chain blockchain, the Mythical Marketplace, and popular blockchain-based games such as NFL Rivals, Mythical has made significant strides in the gaming industry. The studio recently announced that they secured $37 million in the initial phase of its Series C extension round. Notable contributors include Scytale Digital, ARK Invest, Andreessen Horowitz, and Animoca Brands. The company aims to conclude the extension round later, seeking an additional $20 million to $30 million in capital.

In another significant milestone, Mythical Games' NFL Rivals recently exceeded $2 million in NFT trading volume, achieving this feat just three months after reaching the $1 million mark. The increase extends beyond financial metrics, with a notable 257% rise in wallets, now totaling 127,490. The success of NFL Rivals can be attributed to its accessible arcade-style gameplay, drawing in over 20,000 new players daily. Mythical Games benefits from robust brand recognition, fortified by partnerships with the NFL and the NFL Players Association, in addition to promotional alliances with the Miami Dolphins and Amazon Prime Gaming. Moreover, the mass appeal of NFL Rivals lies in its NFTs, featuring official NFL players, obtained through gameplay or in-app purchases. The buying and selling of these NFTs have experienced substantial growth, with buying wallets up by 262% to 16,676 and selling wallets growing by 232% to 9,694. Approaching 3 million players, NFL Rivals has seen a concurrent rise in revenue, aligning with the greenlight from Apple and Google for its in-game marketplace.

Blankos Block Party PC version will be inaccessible after December 18th, 2023, at 10:00 AM PT. The Blankos Marketplace remains open for users to trade NFTs until January 31st, 2024, when a migration to the new Mythical blockchain will occur.
