In Sorare Football, you build a five-player lineup from the cards in your collection. This includes one goalkeeper, one defender, one midfielder, one forward, and one extra player. You then enter your lineup into a variety of competitions, each lasting 3-4 days. The scoring is based on the real-life performance of the players in your lineup. With every competition, your players earn more XP, making them more powerful. You can compete with players on global leaderboards for Sorare digital player cards, ETH, and VIP experiences.

There are three types of rewards: Sorare cards, ETH, and special items like signed football jerseys, Sorare merch, or once-in-a-lifetime in-person experiences. The amount of available rewards fluctuates and depends on the number of real-life football games scheduled for that particular Game Week.

The Sorare Marketplace

The Sorare: Football Marketplace serves as a central hub for acquiring Sorare: Football cards, catering to both collectors and competitors alike. These officially licensed digital player cards are minted by Sorare and made available through the Primary Market. In this Primary Market, players can purchase cards directly from Sorare.

Additionally, the Secondary Market, also known as the Manager Sales Marketplace, presents another option for obtaining cards. Here, managers have the opportunity to buy cards directly from other managers. These cards were previously issued by Sorare through auctions, and now they are available for direct purchase within the Secondary Market.

If you are interested in acquiring cards that have just been minted, such as the latest releases, you will need to participate in New Card Auctions. These auctions provide a platform for players to bid on and purchase the newly minted cards, adding an element of excitement and competition to the process.

Sorare: Football operates on a bi-weekly competition schedule, with each Game Week spanning a 3-4 day cycle. These Game Weeks are structured to run from Tuesday to Friday and then from Friday to the following Tuesday. It's crucial for participants to be aware of the Game Week deadline, which is set at 4 pm CET/10 am ET, so they can plan their strategies accordingly and make timely decisions.

How to Get Started

1. Create Your Account: Sign up on the Sorare website to create your account.
2. Get Your First Cards: You can get your first cards by purchasing them from the Sorare marketplace or by participating in New Signings auctions.
3. Compose Your Team: Once you have at least 5 cards, you can compose your first team. Your team should consist of 1 Goalkeeper, 1 Defender, 1 Midfielder, 1 Forward, and 1 Extra Player.
4. Enter Competitions: Enter your team into competitions based on the card requirements of each competition.
5. Earn Rewards: Based on your team's performance, you can win rewards such as new cards or ETH (Ethereum).
