Wilder World Reveals Rewards Programs

Wilder World is introducing Metropolis, ZBI, and MEGADROP - three new reward programs designed to enhance token utility and engagement within its web3 gaming ecosystem.

Wilder World has announced the upcoming launch of three major reward programs designed to increase user engagement and expand the earning opportunities within its web3 metaverse. The programs (Metropolis, ZBI, and MEGADROP) will allow users to earn $WILD and $MEOW tokens through staking, gameplay, daily activity, and ecosystem participation. These initiatives aim to support the broader adoption of Wilder World’s gaming platform as it prepares for its next development milestones.

Metropolis and $WILD Token

Metropolis is the updated staking system for the $WILD token, which will be migrated to Z Chain, Wilder World’s EVM-compatible Layer 1 blockchain. Z Chain, launched in February 2025, is designed to support gaming, AI, social networking, and high-frequency trading. The transition of staking functions to this new chain will provide users with lower transaction fees compared to Ethereum, as well as improved efficiency when depositing, withdrawing, and claiming rewards.

The migration process is handled by the protocol, meaning existing stakers do not need to take action. All $WILD and liquidity provider (LP) positions will be transferred without cost to the user. The updated Metropolis system will roll out in phases and features a lower total reward rate for both $WILD and LP staking - reduced by 10 to 30 percent.

This change is aimed at maintaining long-term sustainability by controlling token inflation. Additionally, dynamic annual percentage rates (APRs) will adjust automatically based on the total number of tokens staked. Previously locked staking rewards will also become immediately withdrawable after the migration, marking a significant shift from the former 12-month lock-up requirement.

ZBI and $MEOW Tokens

ZBI is a new reward program that distributes $MEOW tokens based on daily user activity within Wilder World. Accessible through Pro subscriptions, the system rewards users for participating in metaverse activities such as gameplay, trading, and messaging through ZERO, the platform’s social layer. Earnings are determined through a daily activity algorithm that factors in multipliers for users holding Genesis NFTs or ecosystem tokens.

The program also includes a referral mechanism that allocates 30 percent of referred users’ subscription revenue and trading fees back to the original referrer. This is designed to encourage organic growth of the Wilder World community while providing ongoing incentives for user engagement.

MEGADROP and CATNIP

MEGADROP introduces a staking-based system where users can earn CATNIP, a metric used to determine eligibility and allocation for future airdrops of new ecosystem tokens. By staking either $WILD or $MEOW tokens, participants accumulate CATNIP over time. This mechanism is positioned to become a key part of the ecosystem’s long-term rewards infrastructure, tying token staking directly to participation in upcoming project launches and expansions.

According to recent communications from the Wilder World team, all three reward programs will be integrated within the ZERO interface. The platform aims to provide a simplified and accessible user experience for staking and rewards participation. The updated systems are expected to include multipliers designed to benefit long-term participants, with the intention of recognizing and rewarding those who have been consistently active in the ecosystem.

Preparing for Super Early Access

The introduction of Metropolis, ZBI, and MEGADROP comes as Wilder World prepares for its Super Early Access launch, scheduled for late July 2025 on the Epic Games Store. The free-to-play metaverse title will initially offer third-person shooter and first-person shooter gameplay, arena modes, and a gear economy.

These features are expected to integrate with the newly updated rewards systems, allowing players to use crypto and fiat currencies for in-game purchases. All in-game spending will be tied to a deflationary model where revenues are used to buy back and burn $WILD tokens, thereby reducing the overall supply.

Wilder World has also indicated plans to expand its platform to Steam, GeForce Now, and potentially to consoles, with discussions ongoing with several major partners. Earlier this month, the project collaborated with Lamborghini to introduce 600 digital Temerario supercars into the metaverse, further extending the platform’s range of virtual assets and brand partnerships.
