Star Atlas, a blockchain-based massively multiplayer online game (MMO), has partnered with decentralized cloud gaming platform Shaga to introduce a new initiative aimed at content creators. This collaboration offers a reward pool of up to $100,000 for creators who participate in the campaign, titled “Streaming With Shaga.” The event is designed to showcase how cloud gaming can bring web3 experiences to mobile devices, allowing creators to stream gameplay to their viewers without requiring high-end gaming hardware.
Details on Star Atlas' $100K Creator Campaign
The launch of this creator campaign follows the announcement of a strategic partnership between Star Atlas and Shaga in March. Star Atlas, built on the Solana blockchain and using Unreal Engine 5, is known for its expansive universe and detailed economic systems. However, not all players have access to the high-end PCs required to play such a graphically intensive game. This is where Shaga’s cloud gaming platform comes into play, allowing players to engage in the game without the need for powerful hardware.
The partnership also includes a direct investment from ATMTA, the development team behind Star Atlas, into Shaga. This investment includes $ATLAS tokens and in-game assets, further solidifying the collaboration and showcasing a shared commitment to expanding the reach of blockchain games. The aim is to scale web3 gaming globally, making it more accessible to a broader audience. As the campaign progresses, it highlights how cloud-based gaming can break down hardware barriers and allow a wider range of players to experience blockchain-based games such as Star Atlas.
About Shaga
The campaign invites creators from around the world to stream Star Atlas gameplay from their PC to mobile devices through Shaga’s cloud gaming platform. The aim is to demonstrate how viewers can experience real-time gameplay on mobile devices without needing a personal gaming rig. The reward pool for the campaign includes $ATLAS tokens, in-game ships, and GLOB points. These assets are part of the Star Atlas and Shaga ecosystems.
The $ATLAS tokens are used within the Star Atlas game for various in-game transactions, while the ships are collectible and playable assets that can be traded or used during gameplay. Additionally, GLOB points, Shaga’s native reward currency, will be awarded to participants. Every accepted creator will receive 100,000 GLOB points, which can be redeemed for future perks, airdrops, and unlockable content.

Creators interested in joining the campaign must follow a few simple steps. First, they need to submit a 30- to 60-second video that showcases a viewer playing Star Atlas live via Shaga, streamed from the creator’s PC to the viewer's mobile device. The objective is to visually demonstrate the seamless experience of participating in the game in real time on a mobile device.
To qualify, creators must have at least 500 followers on one of the major social media platforms, such as X (formerly Twitter), Twitch, YouTube, or TikTok. Once the video is created, creators are required to post it on X, tag @playonshaga, and include the phrase “Streaming with Shaga” in the post. Accepted creators will be given full access to Star Atlas, enabling them to showcase every in-game asset during the campaign. The campaign runs from April 17 to April 30, but creators must submit their videos by April 14 to be eligible for participation.

Shaga is a decentralized cloud gaming platform that enables users to stream games directly from a creator’s PC to their own devices, including mobile phones and tablets. This eliminates the need for viewers to own high-end gaming hardware. To participate, creators must download the Shaga Early Access app on their Windows PC, start a game session, and invite viewers to join. Shaga's system is designed to deliver low-latency streaming, which allows users to experience high-quality gaming without relying on expensive or powerful personal computers. While Shaga offers on-screen controls for mobile users, external controllers, such as Xbox or PS5 controllers, are recommended for a smoother gameplay experience.
