Ragnarok Libre, the Telegram-based RPG from Delabs Games, opens pre-registration. Launching this summer with the $DELABS token and a full on-chain economy.
Delabs Games is bringing back the world of Midgard in a whole new way. The studio has opened pre-registration for Ragnarok Libre, a Telegram-based idle RPG set to launch later this summer. Built on the iconic Ragnarok Online IP, Ragnarok Libre marks a new step for Delabs as it doubles down on web3 games that don’t feel like web3 games.

The launch of Ragnarok Libre is being timed with the debut of $DELABS, the native token designed to fuel the game’s economy. This is more than just another token drop, Delabs is introducing $DELABS into a working ecosystem, with real in-game utility ready on day one.
Pre-registration started on July 3 and includes milestone-based community rewards. Players can unlock a lineup of classic consumables like Berserk Potions, Gold Coin Bags, and Magic Hourglasses as the user count climbs past 25,000, 50,000, and 100,000. The top 10 users on the referral leaderboard will also split 50,000 $DELABS tokens, adding an extra layer of incentive to rally the community.

Described as a “midcore” experience by the team, Ragnarok Libre blends old-school idle RPG elements with blockchain integration in a way that feels surprisingly seamless. Players can access the entire game through Telegram mini-apps, no wallet setup or crypto onboarding required. That’s a big move toward solving one of web3’s biggest problems: accessibility.
Gameplay revolves around the collection and upgrading of items, auto battles, and crafting. Players earn and spend $ZENY, an in-game currency directly connected to $DELABS. Everything from potion ingredients to high-tier gear is part of the economy, and all items can be traded via Delabs’ cross-game marketplace. This means time spent in Ragnarok Libre translates into real, tradable value.
In a conversation with BlockchainGamer, Delabs CEO Joonmo Kwon made it clear that the studio’s approach is different from typical blockchain games. “We’re launching $DELABS into a live, working economy,” he said. “Most projects launch a token first and then scramble to create utility afterward.”

Delabs has had a busy year. After launching Boxing Star X earlier in 2025—a one-on-one fighting game for Telegram and LINE that pulled in over 500,000 users in its first week, the Seoul-based studio is leaning even harder into messaging platforms as a way to distribute games.
The pivot makes sense. Messaging apps come with built-in audiences and distribution channels. That means less friction for onboarding and more potential for viral growth. With Ragnarok Libre, Delabs is taking what it learned from Boxing Star X and aiming for something even bigger.

The $DELABS token has been in development for over a year, but Delabs held off on launching it until the ecosystem was ready. Now that Ragnarok Libre is nearly complete, the team is releasing both simultaneously to ensure the token has utility out of the gate.
Instead of a token that sits idle in users' wallets, $DELABS is designed to be used. It works alongside $ZENY to power crafting, upgrading, and trading in the game’s open economy. Assets earned in-game can be bought, sold, or traded through Delabs’ marketplace, linking the in-game grind with blockchain infrastructure in a way that feels earned, not forced.

When Ragnarok Libre goes live this summer, players can expect a familiar but updated Ragnarok experience. The game includes idle battles, loot collection, forging, gear upgrades, PvP battles, and Guild Wars. Everything runs inside Telegram, which keeps the experience fast and accessible on mobile devices.
Assets and loot gathered in-game can be forged into higher-tier gear or exchanged in the marketplace. Thanks to the $ZENY and $DELABS system, players are rewarded for their time in a player-run economy. Delabs has already launched the official website, outlining key features ahead of the full release.

Delabs is not just building a game. The studio is laying the foundation for a broader ecosystem it calls the “Playable Layer”, a framework where all games and tokens are connected. With $4.7 million in funding from backers like Hashed, Spartan Group, and Polygon Ventures, the studio has been scaling up fast.
After moving away from Polygon in 2024, Delabs has refocused on ecosystems like TON and LINE that align better with their distribution strategy. These platforms support built-in wallets and have active, mobile-first user bases, ideal conditions for the kind of games Delabs is creating.
Looking ahead, the company is also exploring partnerships with AI-based game engines to redefine both development and gameplay. Kwon believes AI will play a central role in the future of games, and he sees South Korea’s evolving crypto policies as a strategic edge.
