Planetarium Labs, a key player in the web3 gaming industry, is set to release Nine Chronicles (9C) Mobile on November 22nd, marking a significant move into the mobile gaming landscape. This transition is expected to extend the accessibility of the already popular Nine Chronicles web3 game to a wider audience.

Nine Chronicles M Mobile promises to deliver the familiar immersive and customizable gameplay that has garnered a dedicated player base on PC. The mobile adaptation aims to provide players with convenient access to the game's features while contributing to the wider adoption of web3 technology.

The mobile version of Nine Chronicles will be available on both Google Play and the Apple Store, with support for in-app purchases, aligning with Planetarium Labs' strategy to introduce web3 games to a diverse user base. Backed by a $32 million funding round last year, Planetarium Labs has been making strides in the web3 gaming space. Alongside Nine Chronicles, the company recently introduced Verse8, an open-source decentralized roguelike RPG protocol, and Immortal Rising 2, a web3 competitive idle RPG game.

“Our goal has always been to provide the best experiences to the widest possible user base. With over 200,000 players already engaged with Nine Chronicles, the mobile release is positioned to cater to a broader audience, allowing gamers to enjoy the experience at their convenience."

JC Kim, the CEO of Planetarium Labs.

To build anticipation, Planetarium Labs has organized a three-week pre-registration event, featuring daily gacha games for users to participate in. Early registrants stand a chance to win various items, including the game's native token, NCG (Nine Chronicles Gold). Nine Chronicles has consistently maintained its top-ranking position on DappRadar, boasting one of the largest global web3 gaming communities. As the world's first fully on-chain and open-source web3 MMORPG game, Nine Chronicles offers decentralized experiences that empower users to modify and utilize the game's intellectual property.

“The development and design teams of Planetarium Labs have decades’ worth of collective experience in gaming and blockchain technologies, and we’re thrilled to be part of this upcoming launch. Idle RPGs represent a popular and growing gaming genre, and Nine Chronicles Mobile could become even more successful than the PC version, playing a crucial role in driving Web3 adoption.”

Alan Lau, Chief Business Officer of Animoca Brands.

The development of Nine Chronicles received substantial support from web3 heavyweights like Animoca Brands and Binance Labs. The mobile announcement follows Planetarium Labs' recent revelation that Nine Chronicles is expanding its reach by integrating the Omnichain Fungible Token (OFT) standard, enabling the seamless transfer of wrapped NCG across different blockchain networks. As the launch date approaches, the gaming community eagerly anticipates the next chapter in the evolution of web3 gaming with Nine Chronicles M Mobile.
