NFL Rivals is now bringing you the thrill of player trades and free agency with the Shakers program. This initiative captures the electrifying surprises and shock value that make these moves an integral part of the NFL offseason. The Shakers program, launching on July 21, will release new player packs into the game, adding to the excitement.

The Shakers player cards feature players donning their previous team uniforms, but the card backgrounds will represent their new teams for the 2023 season. The card rarities correlate with the level of hype surrounding a player’s trade or free agency acquisition. Players stirring the most discussion will be showcased on Legendary cards, while the most hyped offseason trades will appear in the exclusive Mythical rarity cards.

The Shakers program will offer a total of 33 players across varied positions and teams. Three rarities will be available for purchase: Rare, Epic, and Legendary. The much-loved Luminous cards will also make a comeback as a rare layer on top of the Legendary cards. The packs will include 26 players: 6 Legendaries, 8 Epics, and 12 Rares.

Introducing Blueprints, a novel way to participate in the Rivals player cards market. Launching as part of the Shakers program, Blueprints can be bought in Blueprint Packs or earned as Event rewards. These can transform base cards into tradable Limited Edition cards featuring the same players. Each Blueprint will specify a player's name and program, and combining it with a matching base card will produce an LE card from that program.

NFL Rivals continues to keep the heat up with a line-up of events throughout the program, as well as limited events that require base card lineups for entry. Chase cards are back, rewarding six limited-time events and one Mythical card for the top 50 players, determined by a newly introduced leaderboard.
