Jeremy Horn Shares Statement on Overworld and REACH

Jeremy Horn recently shared an update on his social media presence, explaining his brief departure and the focus on his projects. In a recent post on X (Twitter), he emphasized that his primary focus is now on the Overworld and REACH projects, which he believes will provide significant long-term value for the web3 community. Horn acknowledged that his attention had been divided across several initiatives, which impacted the progress of Overworld, and he has now committed to concentrating fully on these two projects.

About Overworld and REACH

Overworld and REACH are central to Horn’s vision of advancing in the web3 gaming space. The development of REACH represents a major shift in strategy for Horn and his team, as they move from a single-game focus to a broader ecosystem approach. Horn explained that Overworld had been spread thin with too many projects, leading to a dilution of effort and resources. By narrowing his focus to Overworld and REACH, he aims to bring these projects to their full potential and, in doing so, contribute to the overall growth of the Xterio ecosystem.

Horn commented that Xterio, the parent company behind Overworld and REACH, is committed to becoming a leader in web3 gaming and AI. Horn expressed that, while the company has faced challenges in gaining community trust, its long-term goal is to build a sustainable ecosystem that benefits all participants. By refocusing on Overworld and REACH, Xterio hopes to create significant value for the web3 community, which in turn will contribute to the growth of the larger ecosystem.

Key Developments for 2025

Horn outlined a series of steps being taken to advance Overworld and REACH. The team is preparing for the Token Generation Event (TGE) of the REACH platform, which will play a key role in driving awareness and engagement within the web3 space. The team is working diligently to ensure that the platform is launched as soon as possible, drawing on their past experiences and learnings to build a solution that resonates with the web3 community. Additionally, Horn emphasized that the platform is designed to create a sustainable cycle of transactions, helping to maintain excitement and engagement over the long term.

One of the key changes Horn discussed was an increase in community rewards. Overworld had previously committed to a 3% day-one unlocked community claim, but Horn stated that he would be increasing the total amount of rewards provided to the community. This change is part of the broader strategy to regain trust and provide more value to the project’s supporters.

More About REACH

The Future of REACH and Xterio’s Ecosystem

Horn envisions REACH as a solution to one of the biggest challenges in both web2 and web3—user acquisition. He pointed out that REACH has the potential to solve distribution issues for web3 applications by leveraging on-chain technology. This, Horn believes, could position REACH similarly to how Applovin succeeded in web2 by solving user acquisition problems for mobile apps. With REACH, Horn hopes to tackle a global problem that affects not only web3 games but also web2 apps and broader software markets.

REACH is part of a broader strategy to create an interconnected ecosystem where each product adds value to the others. Xterio is focused on expanding its portfolio with new titles and platforms, such as the mobile 4X game Braves and the award-winning Champions Ascension. These games will play a key role in the overall strategy, improving REACH’s user acquisition platform while also benefiting from the data and insights that REACH provides.

Strategic Shifts in Game Development

Horn also provided insights into changes in the Overworld development pipeline. The team has decided to pause the development of Radiance, one of the core titles in the Overworld series, in order to focus on Braves. The decision to prioritize Braves stems from a realization that mobile-first games have the greatest potential for success in the web3 space, especially given the challenges that other web3 games have faced in terms of commercial viability. Horn explained that Radiance had been struggling to balance the needs of both the web3 and traditional gaming communities and that a more focused approach to mobile gaming would have a better chance of success.

Despite the shift in focus, Horn emphasized that the Overworld project remains important to him personally. He expressed his commitment to ensuring that the Overworld universe continues to evolve in a way that provides value for the community. While development on Radiance may be paused for now, Horn assured that the team is working diligently to adapt the game for a mobile-first approach, with the long-term goal of making Overworld a successful and engaging title.
