Boomland web3 game Hunters On-Chain has kicked off its much-anticipated play-to-airdrop campaign, offering gamers the chance to earn a share of 250 million BOOM tokens. The campaign coincides with the game's debut on Immutable zkEVM, accessible via browsers and Google Play (iOS users can join through Testflight).

Hunters On-Chain is a fantasy, top-down, casual, PVE action-adventure game with multiple game modes. In the primary Hunt mode, four players battle monsters and level up within a two-minute match. The player with the most experience or the last survivor wins. Players start at level 1 and earn experience points by defeating monsters and collecting stars.
Leveling up provides players with random promotions, which can include power-ups or special abilities. Other game modes include Boss Hunt, where players must defeat a Boss dragon, and Bounty Hunter, a free-for-all battle with no level-ups during the match.
The game is Boomland’s web3 adaptation of the popular mobile game Hunt Royale, available on both browser and mobile platforms. It serves as a cornerstone for Boomland's web3 ventures, setting a precedent for the seamless integration of blockchain technology into mobile gaming.
Hunters On-Chain Badges, Ranking and XP
The event involves players logging in with an Immutable Passport, engaging in activities to collect badges, and earning XP to climb the leaderboard. Hunters On-Chain introduces a faction system, enabling alliances with popular games like Pixelmon and Blast Royale, granting participants a 10% multiplier. Factions also compete for a portion of 10 million BOOM tokens allocated for rewards.
Building upon its predecessor, Hunt Royale, the web3 adaptation boasts polished features including daily quests and a variety of missions. New players receive a trial NFT hunter upon registration, which can be upgraded to a permanent on-chain asset by playing consistently over a specified period.
Participants earn BGEM tokens during gameplay, usable for purchasing chests containing in-game assets such as shards and artifacts. Moreover, the primary BOOM token facilitates the leveling up of hunters, enhancing gameplay dynamics.
Earn XP for Factions and Boost Earnings
To further enhance the utility of the BOOM token, Boomland has announced the introduction of two additional titles to its ecosystem. The first, Archery Club, is a multiplayer archery game that will transition from a web2 mobile game to include web3 features through a process called “soft tokenization.” This gradual integration will introduce existing players to blockchain elements such as token integration and wallet creation using the BGEM utility token.
The second game, Car Driving School, will follow a similar path, incorporating blockchain features gradually. The web2 mobile game will adopt web3 elements, aiming for a launch in Q3 2024. Both Archery Club and Car Driving School, along with Hunters On-Chain, will deploy on the Immutable zkEVM, leveraging the platform’s advanced capabilities for secure and efficient transactions.
