Hunters On-Chain is an action RPG utilizing blockchain technology where players face off against each other and nature in various game modes with the aim of becoming the ultimate hunter.
Hunters On-Chain is a revamped version of the popular Hunters game, which boasts over 5 million downloads on both AppStore and Google Play. Launched in March 2021, Hunt Royale quickly gained success. However, in January 2022, the team realized the an action RPG's potential to reach even greater heights and came up with the idea of tokenization. Given the existing game mechanics, it made sense to take Hunt Royale to Web3. After a few months of tokenization design and adaptations, Hunters On-Chain was born.
BoomLand is a blockchain gaming platform that prioritizes publishing high-quality games and removing the Web3 entry barrier for both players and developers. It accomplishes this by offering onboarding protocols that are currently lacking in the rapidly growing blockchain gaming industry.
Dungeons is a unique game mode in Hunters On-Chain in which players earn Artifacts instead of just $BGEMs. It is considered the most challenging game mode, as players face tougher enemies with each level they achieve. To master and survive in this game mode requires a high level of skill and determination. The reward system is based on the level the player reaches, offering a thrilling challenge for experienced players.
Hunt mode is a co-op PvE game mode where four Hunters compete to be the top hunter in the arena. This mode is entirely based on pure skill, and every hunter has the opportunity to earn $BGEM based on their final score. The map is divided into different biomes and themes, with the difficulty of enemies increasing with each spawn. The fast-paced matches BoomLand managed to create lasts for three minutes, and each hunter has a daily cap on how many hunts they can participate in. The reward system in Hunters On-Chain is based on the hunter's ranking in the hunt, their earning ratio (Rarity & Level), and any bonuses such as mythical artifacts or consumables.
King's Protectors, that's not the official name but it is literally what you do, is a co-op PvE game mode where two Hunters must protect the King while fighting off enemies. This mode is also skill-based, and every hunter can earn $BGEM based on the wave both players reached. During the battle, hunters have the chance to level up, heal, or upgrade the reward multiplier. The King cannot be healed but will fight when necessary. BoomLand designed this game mode so Hunters must spend one point of Energy per game, with the option to increase the number of games they can play by using a special ticket (1 ticket = 1 additional game). The reward system in Hunters On-Chain is based on the final wave achieved in the session, the earning ratio of the hunter (Rarity & Level), and any bonuses such as mythical artifacts or consumables.
Bounty Hunter is a classic battle royale mode where Hunters fight against other players for the prize pool. In this mode, ten players participate in massive battles with no monsters, only players. The map has four tiles in each corner that will spawn a heart that heals Hunters and a tome that temporarily buffs their stats. Hunters On-Chain ensures fairness by matching players with the same skill level based on their rating. The top three winners split the prize pool in $BGEM, and the winner has a chance to receive a special ticket that gives access to special events or modes. To participate in this mode, Hunters must spend one point of Energy per game, but they can increase the number of games they can play by using a special ticket (1 ticket = 1 additional game).
Hunters in the BoomLand ecosystem are dynamic characters that love to play, fight, and search for treasure. They are the foundation of the World of BoomLand and allow players to build value and explore a rich and diverse ecosystem. With 75 billion unique possibilities, Hunters with unique traits will be available to help players conquer the game.
To create new Hunters in the BoomLand world, players must participate in a process called “Summoning”. This requires the use of 5 specific NFTs called "Equipment" and $BOOM tokens, as well as the temporary locking of two existing Hunters. The recipes for creating specific Hunter Types will be made available to players, with a maximum success rate of 80% if each item used is of Legendary rarity. The higher the quality of each ingredient, the higher the chance of summoning the intended Hunter.
The summoning process requires players to lock two Heroes for a specific period of time and use them to summon a new Hero. The duration of the process is based on the rarity and level of the two assigned Heroes.
In Hunters On-Chain, players can upgrade their Hunters’ Level up to 10 levels, which will increase attributes such as HP, Damage, Daily Energy, and $BGEM earnings coefficient. To upgrade a Hunter, players must collect Hunter Shards and spend a certain amount of $BOOM tokens. Each Hunter type has its own unique Hunter Shard with varying rarities, which can only be found in Hunt Boxes or purchased directly from other players. The rarity of the Hunter Shard must match the rarity of the Hunter, and each attribute increases by 1 pip with each level up.
In order to participate in BoomLand's first signature game, Hunters On-Chain, and start earning rewards, players need to obtain a Hunter. There are various options to acquire a Hunter including purchasing one during presales, buying from the marketplace, renting from another player, summoning with specific equipment NFTs, or opening Hunt Boxes.
Upon signing up for the game, the system will check if you have a Hunter in your connected wallet. If you do not have one, the game will provide a tutorial on how to obtain one. The tutorial will start with a movement and fighting session, leading into the player's first match. The tutorial does not involve any complicated processes with wallets or blockchain, making it accessible for all players.
