Boomland, a game developer known for its innovative approach, is making significant strides in the web3 space. Following its strategic move from Polygon to Immutable, Boomland has been diligently preparing for the Q3 2024 launch of its BOOM token on the blockchain. In an effort to bolster token utility, the company has announced two new mobile games as part of its expanding ecosystem.

In May, Boomland introduced a 250 million BOOM play-to-airdrop campaign aimed at creating a robust utility for its tokens. Differentiating itself from other developers who rely heavily on social quests, Boomland emphasized that tokens will primarily be earned by accumulating experience points (XP) in their game, Hunters On-Chain. This approach highlighted Boomland's commitment to genuine player engagement and its extensive experience in the gaming industry, predating the era of token speculation and social media farming.
250 Million BOOM Play-To-Airdrop Campaign
Hunters On-Chain is a fantasy, top-down, casual, PVE action-adventure game with multiple game modes. In the primary Hunt mode, four players battle monsters and level up within a two-minute match. The player with the most experience or the last survivor wins. Players start at level 1 and earn experience points by defeating monsters and collecting stars.
Leveling up provides players with random promotions, which can include power-ups or special abilities. Other game modes include Boss Hunt, where players must defeat a Boss dragon, and Bounty Hunter, a free-for-all battle with no level-ups during the match.
Boomland Airdrop Campaign for Hunters On-Chain
The game is Boomland’s web3 adaptation of the popular mobile game Hunt Royale, available on both browser and mobile platforms. It serves as a cornerstone for Boomland's web3 ventures, setting a precedent for the seamless integration of blockchain technology into mobile gaming.
To further enhance the utility of the BOOM token, Boomland has announced the introduction of two additional titles to its ecosystem. The first, Archery Club, is a multiplayer archery game that will transition from a web2 mobile game to include web3 features through a process called “soft tokenization.” This gradual integration will introduce existing players to blockchain elements such as token integration and wallet creation using the BGEM utility token.
Car Driving School
The second game, Car Driving School, will follow a similar path, incorporating blockchain features gradually. The web2 mobile game will adopt web3 elements, aiming for a launch in Q3 2024. Both Archery Club and Car Driving School, along with Hunters On-Chain, will deploy on the Immutable zkEVM, leveraging the platform’s advanced capabilities for secure and efficient transactions.
Boomland’s strategic initiatives signal a strong commitment to integrating blockchain technology with mobile gaming, offering players new ways to engage and earn within the gaming ecosystem.
Hunters On-Chain is accessible via a webpage or through the official app available on Android and iOS devices. For more information on Boomland Games and Hunters On-Chain, visit the Boomland website, follow them on Twitter, and join their Discord.
