Ragnarok Games has officially launched Season 2 of BloodLoop, offering players six weekly events where the top 10 participants can earn a share of $1,000 prize pools each week. Players collect points through crafting, refining, and participating in game modes, with specific days allocated for different activities. The season provides multiple opportunities for players to earn rewards and compete actively until mid-September.

BloodLoop is a free-to-play, third-person hero shooter supported by Avalanche and Beam (formerly Merit Circle). Players select a hero from one of four factions, each with distinct abilities, and engage across three game modes: Energy War, Team Deathmatch, and Free for All. Energy War is a tactical 5v5 mode where teams control Exotic Matter nodes to drain the opponent’s resources. Team Deathmatch focuses on coordinated efforts to achieve a set number of kills within a time limit. Free for All allows players to showcase individual skills in 10-player matches.
The game is currently in early access, which began on June 23, 2025, with a $15,000 airdrop event. BloodLoop raised $4 million in seed funding in March 2024. It is available for free on the Epic Games Store, allowing players to try the PvP-focused title before purchasing the Season Pass required for play-to-earn events.

Season 2 introduces a new weekly format, replacing the single cumulative leaderboard used in the first season. Each of the six weekly events features a $1,000 prize pool, totaling $6,000 in token rewards for the season. Rewards are distributed to the top 10 players based on placement and points earned. Points can be accumulated through crafting and refining activities during weekdays, and by participating in game modes during weekends.
The season also introduces XP Boosters, which can be purchased with $BLS tokens to temporarily increase rewards for selected matches or time periods. According to announcements on the official Discord, the competitive weekly events began on August 13 and will continue until the third week of September. Following Season 2, Ragnarok Games plans to return to the standard seasonal format with Patch 0.7.0, which will be released during the Tokyo Game Show later this year.
BloodLoop Season 2 Now Live
To participate in the play-to-earn events, players must purchase a $5 Season Pass using $BLS tokens. New players can download BloodLoop on the Epic Games Store for Windows PCs. The game runs on its Avalanche-powered Layer 1 network, and an in-game wallet can be created automatically, though players need to deposit $BLS tokens to purchase the Season Pass. Deposits and withdrawals of $BLS tokens between the game wallet and a C-Chain wallet are managed through the game dashboard.
Once the Season Pass is purchased, players can earn points during the weekly events, which are divided into two phases: Crafting & Refining and Game Mode participation. Crafting allows players to create NFTs using Blueprints, Materials, and Crafting Tokens, with points awarded for each completed craft. Refining converts Shards into Materials and also contributes to leaderboard points. During weekends, players earn Game Mode points by winning matches in Energy War, Team Deathmatch, or Free for All modes.
Top-ranking players at the end of each week will receive a share of the $1,000 prize pool in $BLS tokens. With six weekly competitions, BloodLoop Season 2 offers multiple opportunities for players to earn tokens while engaging in both strategic crafting and competitive PvP gameplay.
