In the ever-evolving landscape of blockchain-based gaming, Axie Infinity continues to captivate players and enthusiasts alike with its innovative approach to decentralized play-to-earn ecosystems. The latest milestone in the Axie universe has arrived, heralding a new chapter in the game's history — the launch of Axie Infinity Classic Guilds.
This latest development brings a sense of community, camaraderie, and strategic collaboration to the forefront, as players unite within guilds to navigate the virtual realms of Lunacia. In this article we delve into the exciting realm of Axie Infinity Classic Guilds, exploring the potential impact on the gaming experience and the broader implications for the blockchain gaming industry.
Players can now create a guild for 8 AXS or join one that will let them aboard. Membership in a guild can make a huge difference in the arena: players who work together can share strategies and become even more competitive.
Fee to create: 8 AXS per new guild
Maximum members: 60 members for Level 1 guilds. Guild levelling-up coming soon.
Guild Creation Limit: one address can create a maximum of one guild.
Each player can also share up to 6 axies with fellow guild members through the Guild Vault. The team plans to expand this number in the future, and here’s how the sharing process will work.
First, a player deposits the axies to the Guild Axie Vault. Then, the axies are locked until the second daily reset at 00:00 UTC within the following 48 hours. After this time, other guild members can “hire” the axies for 20 gold per day.
The upgraded Classic Portal will also enable players to deposit AXS and withdraw SLP. Deposit SLP here to join Premium Cursed Coliseum. Read their support article for more info about the Classic Portal.
For those interested you can register for the Grand Tournament now. The team encourages each guild member to register because they’ll be able to accumulate Guild Points once the Guild Leaderboard goes live on 21st March.
(a) Register and compete in the Grand Tournament —>
(b) Accumulate Guild Points —>
(c) Climb the Guild Leaderboard!
Note: Guild Points will reset on March 21st. That means any Guild Points earned between now and March 21st will not count towards the Guild Leaderboard.
The team says they are working on shipping more features to Axie Classic Guilds. That means there are a few limitations for now. For example, you cannot delete or change the name of a guild once it has been created. Remembering this is important because each Ronin address can only create one guild.
A new Guild Chat feature will soon enable Guild members to communicate with each other while playing Axie Classic. Stay tuned for more details.
