Apeiron Season 3 (S3) has finally debuted with several updates aimed at enhancing player experiences. With a focus on improving PvE gameplay and introducing the innovative Doodaria Pass, Apeiron S3 promises to offer new challenges and rewards for its community. In this article, we will cover everything you need to know about the game, unique features for Season 3, and the new Doodaria Pass.

Apeiron is described as the world's first NFT-based god game running on the Ronin blockchain. It features a unique rogue-lite dungeon card-battler combined with god game simulation gameplay inspired by classic god games like Populous and Black & White.
Apeiron is being developed by a team of 60 Hong Kong developers with their prototype generating one of the largest single-game seed fundings in web3 from investors including Hashed, IVC, Morningstar Ventures, Spartan Group, and DeFiance. To date, Apeiron has raised $24 million, including a recent $13.5 million seed round.
“Building upon the concepts laid by Axie Infinity's token breeding model, which correlates NFT value with their actual cost creation, Apeiron tokenomics represents the next generation of web3 gaming. This foundation, combined with scholarship and rentals was the key to Axie’s success, and we plan to further improve the model by refining supply management and implementing vigilant monitoring,” commented Frank Cheng, CEO of Foonie Magus.
Apeiron S3 brings significant enhancements to its PvE dungeon mode, catering to both seasoned players and newcomers. The dungeons have been restructured with three difficulty levels: easy, normal, and hard. Each level offers distinct challenges and rewards such as Unpurified Gold and Soul Gems. Higher difficulties provide opportunities to encounter more powerful Apostles, adding strategic depth to dungeon exploration. Please see the detailed outline below.
PvE Dungeon Mode
The updated Dungeon mode will have four currencies: Unpurified Gold, Unpurified Souls, Soul Gems, and Souls (as shown in the image below from left to right). In the Season 1 and Season 2 PvE dungeon versions, Soul Gems were the only currency in the dungeon, but in the coming new PvE dungeon the Unpurified Gold will replace the old Soul Gem’s function, while Soul Gems will have new purposes.
Here’s what each of the currencies will get you:

The introduction of the Cradle hub allows players to manage their Apostles more effectively. Apostles will now age over time - players can increase their skills and convert them into NFTs before they reach their lifespan limit. The Cradle also allows players to reset Apostle ages using Souls, ensuring longevity and strategic flexibility.
Now that Apostles can age over time it means each day passing they will grow older, and they can live up to 31 days until they die of old age. Your goal is to level up their skills as much as possible before the deadline, and mint them into NFTs so that they can be your companions forever. Don’t worry if your favorite Apostle dies before minting though, you may choose to reset an Apostle to 0 days old by spending Souls.
Cradle Hub
In Apeiron S3, players can now assemble a team of up to four Apostles before venturing into dungeons. This change encourages strategic planning and allows players to rescue additional Apostles during gameplay. The dungeon shop has been updated based on player feedback, offering a wider selection of items, including the new Sealed Apostle boxes, which grant random-class Apostles.
For new players, in order to familiarize yourself with the game, you’ll start from the easy dungeon. Once you’ve completed the easy dungeon run successfully the normal mode will unlock. The same goes for proceeding to hard mode. Every time you start a new dungeon run, you’ll have to choose the difficulty level and pay to open the dungeon door using Soul Gems. The Soul Gems required to open the door increases with the number of times you start new runs within the day, and it will reset once per day.

The new Portal Room replaces the Campfire Room, allowing players to temporarily return to the Cradle for rest without losing progress. Additionally, players can gather ingredients in dungeons to create healing soups at the Cradle, providing buffs for continued gameplay.
The Doodaria Pass is another highlight of Apeiron S3, rewarding active community engagement. By reaching chat level 5 in the official Discord server, players unlock access to Gameplay, Social Media, and Community Quests. These quests offer rewards such as in-game items, Golden Apostle Tickets, and Planet NFTs, enhancing the overall gameplay experience.
