Upgrades require BTCASH, an in-game currency earned from races, and specific upgrade card NFTs, which can be collected or traded. Cosmetic items like paint jobs, decals, tyre sets, and nitro effects let players personalize their trucks without affecting performance, making each racer’s truck feel unique on the track.

Tournaments happen on a weekly and monthly basis, offering unique rewards for top performers. These events bring together some of the best racers, with bigger prize pools and exclusive rewards for those who place high. Entry tickets for these events are NFTs, meaning they can be earned in races, purchased in-game, or traded on the marketplace. NFTs and Web3 

Block Trucks integrates web3 features through NFT ownership and a decentralized economy, powered by Immutable. Instead of relying on a traditional cryptocurrency token, the game operates with two in-game currencies, which are BTCASH and BTCOIN. BTCASH is earned through racing and is mainly used for truck upgrades and maintenance, while BTCOIN serves as a premium currency for purchasing cosmetics and other exclusive items.

NFTs play a key role in customization and progression. Truck cosmetics, including paint jobs, decals, tyre sets, and nitro boosts, allow players to personalize their vehicles without affecting performance. Upgrade cards are needed to enhance truck stats, improving speed, acceleration, and handling. Stadium NFTs give players the ability to own a racetrack and earn a share of the FUEL rewards generated by races held there, offering a way to earn passive income.
