Super-B

Introduction

Super-B throws you into a brick-built world packed with fast paced mini-games, map building, and social chaos. Whether you're racing, creating, or just hanging out, there's always something going on. It's built on Sui, with optional web3 perks like asset ownership and seasonal rewards.

Super-B is an online social gaming platform where players jump into a blocky 3D world and play all kinds of fast-paced mini-games. At its core, Super-B feels like a digital playground. You play as a toy-like character called a Toon, running through obstacle courses, playing tag, or even designing your own games. While the game integrates web3 features like NFTs and token rewards powered by Sui, these are optional. Most of the core content, role-playing games, customizing your character, and exploring are open to everyone, with or without a wallet.

Gameplay and Features

Gameplay in Super-B is all about variety. The platform offers over a dozen mini-games that range from casual to competitive. You might be dodging obstacles in a race one moment, sneaking around in hide and seek the next, or getting into team fights in modes like dodgeball and deathmatch. The vibe feels similar to party games like Fall Guys or the more social side of Roblox, but with smoother controls and more polished visuals thanks to Unreal Engine 5.

You control your own customizable Toon. These characters are meant to look and feel like toys, and you can swap out outfits, gear, and emotes to personalize your look. Some of the items are purely cosmetic, while others can be earned through gameplay or bought as digital collectibles.

One of the biggest features is the Super-B Game Builder, a built-in tool that lets players create and share their own games. You don’t need to know how to code as it’s all drag-and-drop. Whether it’s a custom obstacle course or a new game mode with unique mechanics, you can build it and let other players try it out. The goal is to make user-generated content a big part of the platform moving forward.

Social interaction is also a core part of the experience. Even outside of matches, you can hang out with other players in social hubs, use emotes, or explore community-created maps. Everything is connected through a unified platform that supports events, seasonal leaderboards, and player stats.

Competitive players can climb seasonal leaderboards by earning Game Points (GP) through different game modes. At the end of each season, the top performers are rewarded with token-based prizes, which ties into the game’s broader web3 layer, but we’ll get to that next.

NFTs and Web3

Super-B adds web3 elements into the mix, but it doesn’t force them on players. You can enjoy everything from gameplay to customization without spending a single token or touching a wallet. That said, there’s a layer for players who do want to dive into it.

In-game items like outfits, gear, and emotes can be NFTs. These are owned by players and can be traded, collected, or used across the platform. The goal is to give players true ownership over their digital stuff, not just temporary access. The game runs on the Sui blockchain, which helps power the NFT systems and future marketplace features. Earlier versions of the game also used Polygon for testing, but the team seems focused on moving fully to Sui moving forward. The infrastructure allows for object-based NFTs and interaction between game assets, which gives the devs and community more flexibility for future content.

The core progression system is based on Game Points (GP). You earn GP just by playing, and it’s tracked on seasonal leaderboards. At the end of the season, players who rank high enough can earn token rewards. GP itself isn’t a token, it’s an internal score. This system helps keep the game focused on actual gameplay rather than pay-to-win mechanics.

Map builders and creators also have opportunities to earn if their content gets popular. In the future, the idea is that creators could monetize their games or gear through the Super-B marketplace, adding another layer to the in-game economy.

How to Get Started

Super-B is still in development, with regular playtests leading up to launch. Follow their socials to stay updated, and add the game to your wishlist on Epic Games to be notified when it’s live.
