1. The Skyweaver Interface, Cards, and Game Modes

Skyweaver boasts a user-friendly interface that's easy to navigate. As you explore, you'll encounter various cards and game modes that will test your strategic prowess. Familiarize yourself with the game menus, and don't hesitate to play a few rounds with the bot to get a feel for the game mechanics.

2. Heroes, Prisms, and Card Phrasing

Skyweaver features a diverse range of Heroes and Prisms, each offering a unique playstyle. Currently, there are five Prisms: Strength, Agility, Wisdom, Heart, and Intellect. Think of Prisms as the soul of your deck, guiding its strategy and tactics. Here's a brief overview:

  • Strength: Focuses on powerful units and buffs.
  • Agility: Emphasizes speed with swift units.
  • Wisdom: A defensive playstyle with healing and removal capabilities.
  • Heart: Specializes in death effects and card recycling.
  • Intellect: Features units with potent effects and spell duplication.

Heroes represent combinations of these Prisms. You can either build a deck with a single Prism or combine two for added versatility. Single Prism decks consist of 25 cards, while dual Prism decks have 30 cards. Choose wisely, as each option has its advantages and drawbacks.

3. Core Game Mechanics

Skyweaver introduces several core mechanics that you'll need to master:

  • Out-of-decking/Conjuring: A unique feature that allows you to bring cards into play from outside your deck.
  • Attachment System & Enchantments: Enhance your cards with powerful buffs and effects.
  • Turn Order: Understand the flow of the game and strategize your moves accordingly.

4. Elements and Their Significance

Skyweaver incorporates eight elements: Air, Dark, Earth, Fire, Light, Metal, Mind, and Water. Elements define the nature of a card and are not tied to any specific Prism. They introduce synergies between cards of similar elements, much like tribes in other card games. Recognizing these synergies and building around them can give you a strategic edge.

5. Reading and Understanding Cards

While it might seem basic, reading cards correctly is crucial in Skyweaver. Cards come with specific phrasings that dictate their effects. For instance:

  • Ally/Allies: Refers to your units and Hero.
  • All Units: Pertains to every unit on the battlefield, both yours and your opponent's.
  • Character: Includes all units and Heroes on the field.
  • Target: Any character on the battlefield that can be affected by a card's effect.

And many more. Always read cards carefully to ensure you understand their effects and interactions.

6. Deck Building for Beginners

Building a deck is both an art and a science. As you become more familiar with Skyweaver's cards and mechanics, you'll develop your own strategies and preferences. Remember, there's no one-size-fits-all approach. Experiment with different combinations, learn from your mistakes, and continuously refine your deck.

Skyweaver is a game of endless possibilities, where strategy, creativity, and adaptability reign supreme. As you delve deeper into its world, remember that every loss is a lesson and every victory a testament to your growth. Embrace the challenge, learn from your experiences, and above all, enjoy the journey. Welcome to Skyweaver, where legends are born.
