Introduction
There is just something about isometric dungeon multiplayer shooters that make them hit different. In traditional gaming, you have the likes of Hotline Miami, 20 Minutes Till Dawn, Ruiner, and many others. In web3 gaming, we have SIPHER spearheading the top-down isometric shooter genre.
SIPHER is a multiplayer looter shooter ARPG, set in a dream-like universe of alien worlds, vibrant characters, and dangerous mysteries. Players take the role of either INUs or NEKOs in an attempt to save the virtual universe created by a god-like artificial intelligence, where the future of humanity has been reborn and must fight to explore and protect their new home.
Characters
Previously, SIPHER released two NFT collections, featuring 10K characters each. It splits the universe into INUs and NEKOs, all of which are playable characters in-game but from different genders.
Each race has four designated sub-races, which affect their weapons, abilities, and what they can bring to the table. Considering SIPHER has a heavy focus on cooperative gameplay, coordinating your characters’ strengths and weaknesses can come incredibly handy in battle.
INUs

The INUs feature four sub-races, namely Inu, Canis, Bioz, Cyborg, and Cosmic. Each sub-race has its own unique skill, but they are all masters at wielding assault rifles, sniper rifles, and katanas. The following list goes through each sub-race and their corresponding skill:
- Canis: Comes equipped with the Explosive Speed skill, allows him to vastly increase his attack speed with a chance of turning his bullets into explosive projectiles.
- Bioz: Poison Cloud skill inflicts damage over time to all enemies within his surroundings as well as adding a chance of enemies killed by it to turn into poisonous puddles.
- Cyborg: Robo Turrets, sentient machine guns capable of mowing down waves of enemies.
- Cosmic : Super Nova, stuns and burns enemies upon impact within its area of effect.
NEKOs

On the other hand, NEKOs are the female versions of the INU characters mentioned above, but their cute little cat ears are a disguise. They are just as dangerous, if not more. The NEKOs’ four sub-races are: Felis, Synthetic, Phasewalker, and Crystalis. The following list goes through each sub-race and their corresponding skill:
- Felis:Cats Out of the Bag, rolls a bomb toward a targetted location that stuns and damages targets within the vicinity.
- Synthetic: Hologram deploys a copy of Synthetic to deal damage utilizing the character’s current weapon loadout. Activating the skill again teleports you to the hologram’s location.
- Phasewalker: Shadow Walk turns your character invisible and undetectable to enemies while slowing them down when you are close.
- Crystalis: Crystal Rage summons a crystal line freezing all enemies’ in its path, with its passive randomly spawning crystals to trap enemies close to Crystalis
