In Promotion Royale, office politics get deadly. Every match is a high-stakes game of deception where players use hidden role cards to steal, block, and backstab their way to a solo promotion. Built on the Abstract Layer 2, it’s a chaotic mix of strategy and on-chain rewards, with a long-term XP system that lets you climb job ranks or cash out by getting fired. Get promoted, get paid, or get exposed trying.
Promotion Royale is a multiplayer bluffing game where players compete for corporate dominance in a cutthroat office-themed arena. Set in a satirical version of corporate life, every match is a battle to outwit, outplay, and outbluff your coworkers — because only one person gets promoted. The rest? Fired. The game is a mix of social deduction, poker-like reads, and real ETH prize pools. But beyond winning matches, there’s a long-term metagame where players earn experience (XP), climb job titles, and eventually cash out for daily unemployment payouts. It’s a unique mix of party-game chaos and economic strategy, designed for quick fun with deep long-term incentives.
Each match in Promotion Royale is a fast-paced elimination game where 2 to 8 players bluff, block, and steal their way through the office hierarchy. Every player starts with two hidden role cards like “HR Director,” “Accountant,” or “Sales.” Each role has a unique ability — but here’s the twist: you don’t have to actually have the role to use it. You just have to not get caught.
You can play actions like stealing coins, blocking others, calling bonuses, or even executing a firing — and you can do it truthfully or as a bluff. If someone challenges your action and you're lying, you lose one of your two roles. But if you're telling the truth and they wrongly accuse you, they lose one instead.
As the match goes on, players build coins, call each other’s bluffs, and knock each other out. When you're down to one role and get caught bluffing again, you’re out. The last surviving employee wins the ETH prize pool.
Outside of matches, the game introduces a long-term career system. Players earn XP even if they lose, and that XP can be used to climb corporate ranks — from Intern all the way to CEO. You can either keep climbing or choose to get fired at any point. Getting fired resets your XP but starts a stream of daily ETH payouts from the game’s Unemployment Fund. The higher your rank when you cash out, the longer and bigger your unemployment benefits.
There are also special actions, one-time-use abilities, and private match options for playing with friends. And if you're not in the mood to bluff through it all, there's even an "Auto-Farm XP" option where you burn ETH to gain XP directly, useful for players trying to reach high-level severance quicker. Promotion Royale combines quick match-based bluffing with a persistent economy that rewards strategic exits and timing the market. Play smart, lie better, and know when to walk away.
Promotion Royale runs fully onchain on Abstract, an Ethereum Layer 2 that powers all in-game actions, balances, and progression. Players log in using an Abstract wallet, which can be created via email or Web3. ETH is used for everything — match buy-ins, XP farming, and reward payouts. The game doesn’t use a separate token. ETH is the prize pool currency, and XP is earned through matches or ETH contributions. XP isn’t tradable but is used to climb job levels or unlock unemployment rewards when fired.
A unique part of Promotion Royale’s design is its Genesis Employee NFT collection. Limited to 1,500 total NFTs, each one acts like a premium pass in the ecosystem. Holders get benefits like:
The game also redistributes part of its revenue into the Unemployment Fund, which pays ETH to players who get “fired” in-game. NFT holders can opt into a passive income system that shares a slice of this fund — adding more long-term value to being an early supporter. Because Promotion Royale is part of Abstract, all XP earned in the game also contributes to the chain-wide Abstract XP system. Top performers each week can qualify for ecosystem-level airdrops and rewards beyond the game itself.
To get started with Promotion Royale, head to the official site and sign in using an Abstract Wallet, you can easily create one using just your email or connect a standard Web3 wallet. After signing up, fund your in-game balance by depositing a bit of ETH on Abstract. This ETH will be used for joining matches and other actions inside the game. Once your wallet is funded, you can hop into a free match to learn the ropes or dive straight into real games with ETH on the line.
