Game Lore

Haven is the home of the Poglins, creatures divided into six tribes with their own quirks and specialties. From the jungle-dwelling Florids, who are masters of balance and cultivation, to the Emberkin, tough warriors and skilled smiths, every tribe brings something different to the table. The Merva dominate the seas, trading and scavenging to keep Haven connected, while the tech-savvy Pebblites use their engineering skills to build machines that pack a punch. The shadowy Nycra are all about power and manipulation, and the Faen, watching from their floating islands, keep an eye on the rest of Haven with their sharp minds and sense of order. Each tribe is tied to an element, like Fire, Water, or Dark, which plays a key role in how Poglins fight. 

Gameplay and Features

At its core, Poglin Slam is a turn-based battle game where players send Poglins into clashes to score points. You pick Poglins from your bench and deploy them into the arena face down. The twist? The back of each shard shows the Poglin’s tier, letting your opponent guess whether to match or counter your move. Once both Poglins are revealed, they clash based on Combat Power (CP) and their unique skills.

Winning a clash earns you a point, and the first to hit the arena’s target score wins the match. The winner of each clash gets the option to SLAM, raising the stakes for the next round. SLAMMING boosts the rewards for the winner but gives the opponent a CP advantage. It’s a gamble that can turn the tide of a match—if you play it right.

Progression is tied to arenas. Starting with smaller teams, you’ll unlock new Poglins, additional team slots, and more advanced mechanics as you climb through the ranks. Once you’ve conquered all seven arenas, you can test your skills in the Masters League, where only the best players compete for seasonal rewards.

Collecting and Leveling Poglins

Building your collection is a big part of the game. Poglins come in different tiers (Bronze, Silver, Gold), rarities (Common to Legendary), and elemental affinities. Some Poglins are Unlimited, meaning they’re free to earn and tied to gameplay progression. Others are Limited, which are NFTs that you can trade or collect.

Leveling up your Poglins is done through fusion. You can feed unwanted Poglins to your favorites, giving them XP to increase their CP and unlock new skills. Each Poglin has a unique progression path, so figuring out which ones to invest in adds a layer of strategy. Skills are split into two types:

• Passive Skills trigger automatically and can activate multiple times. Some provide buffs, while others create challenges you’ll need to work around.
• Active Skills are learned as Poglins level up and can only trigger once per battle, making them game-changers when used strategically.

If you’re hunting for new Poglins, you can hatch eggs from the in-game shop. Unlimited eggs give you Poglins based on your arena progress, while Limited eggs offer exclusive options for collectors and competitive players.

Currencies and Rewards

Poglin Slam has two main currencies: Stubs and PGC (Poglin Game Coin). Stubs are earned by playing and completing daily tasks, like winning battles or leveling up your Poglins. They’re used for in-game transactions like hatching Unlimited eggs or increasing your collection capacity.

PGC is used for buying Limited eggs and trading in the marketplace. It’s a premium currency you can earn through gameplay or purchase directly. PGC can also be cashed out for real-world value, making it the go-to for serious collectors and competitive players. Tasks are another way to earn rewards. Daily tasks keep you engaged with objectives like playing battles, fusing Poglins, and leveling up your team. Lifetime tasks give bigger rewards for hitting milestones, helping you progress faster.
