Game Lore

The game’s story revolves around Planet-X, a forgotten world located far beyond Earth. First theorized by NASA in 2015, the planet was discovered in 3092 when Earth's UN Space Explorer Drones landed there and uncovered the remains of an ancient civilization known as the Xylons. The Xylons were a highly advanced race who harnessed a powerful mineral called Elixir, found deep in the planet's core. Elixir was capable of powering nearly anything, and the Xylons used it to accumulate massive wealth and influence across the galaxy.

However, the Xylons' prosperity attracted the attention of an evil race, the Dark Mata, who invaded Planet-X and tried to seize its resources. After a lengthy battle, the Xylons were forced to flee, and in their haste, a solar storm caused their Mothership to break apart. The wreckage, along with valuable treasures, was scattered across the asteroid belt, some of it eventually falling to the planet's surface.

Now, scavenger drones from various galaxies, known as X-Droids, have descended on Planet-X to recover these lost treasures, and that's where players come in. Competing against others, you’ll race to find these treasures, battle for loot, and potentially walk away with real-world prizes.

Gameplay and Features

In Planet-X, players take part in global hunts to find treasure chests scattered across a map. Each hunt is a timed event, and your goal is to be the first to secure the treasure. The game is built around competition, with players racing against each other for valuable loot.

The Hunt

Each hunt in Planet-X is a live event open to all players. Hunts are scheduled at specific times, but they can also appear spontaneously, adding an element of surprise and excitement to the gameplay. The goal is straightforward: race to find and claim treasure chests hidden across the planet. These hunts not only offer in-game rewards, but players are also competing for real-world prizes hidden within the chests, making each hunt even more thrilling.

One key feature in the game is the ability to fight other players. If you find a treasure and someone else sees you, they can kill you and take your loot. Combat mechanics are designed to make these encounters tense and strategic, as winning a fight could mean the difference between going home empty-handed or claiming a prize.

There are two types of hunts to suit players of different skill levels. Unranked hunts are ideal for beginners, with smaller prize pools, providing a great opportunity to practice and hone your skills. As you gain experience and level up your X-Droid, you’ll unlock access to ranked hunts, where the competition intensifies and the prize pools grow larger, offering bigger rewards for those who are ready for the challenge.

Player Upgrades

In Planet-X, you'll have access to a variety of upgrades from the Mothership's armory to help improve your hunting skills and give you an edge over other players. These upgrades allow you to tailor your playstyle and add more strategy to your approach. You can choose from vehicles to move around the planet faster, scanners to search larger areas and locate treasure more efficiently, and weapons to defend yourself or take down other players and steal their loot. However, you're limited in the number of upgrades you can carry, so you'll need to choose wisely based on your preferred strategy and the type of hunt you’re entering.

Game Modes

Planet-X offers different modes, each bringing a unique spin on the classic treasure hunt experience:

• Standard Hunt: A mode where players work to find hidden chests. The first person to find a chest wins the prize inside.
• Extraction Hunt: Similar to the Standard Hunt, but here you’ll need to escape after finding the treasure. Other players can kill you and steal your prize, so you’ll need to stay on your toes.
• The Lost Keys: This mode features one chest and one keycard. Players race to find the key, and the first person to unlock the chest wins. Once it's opened, the hunt ends.
• Last Man Standing: A competitive, all-out battle between 100 players. The last player standing wins the special chest and all the loot inside.

NFTs and Blockchain

The game has X-Droid as its main NFT, which is an exclusive digital assets that goes beyond just being an in-game characters, it’s your ticket to a range of valuable perks. Owning one gives you access to features that other players can’t get. Customize your X-Droid with unique skins, weapons, and items, making it stand out in hunts. Plus, X-Droid owners are granted VIP access to X-Treme Hunts, where you’ll compete for real-world prizes, with prize pools starting at $10,000 and growing as the player base expands.

But the perks don’t end there. As an X-Droid owner, you can rent out your spot in X-Treme Hunts to other players, allowing them to compete for big rewards while you earn rental fees.
