Mirai Lab's Petopia pits players against a variety of monsters in dungeon environments, tasking them with clearing these dungeons and defeating the ultimate boss. As the brave protector, your destiny unfolds through unknown landscapes and challenging encounters. The game emphasizes strategic Roguelite Shooter gameplay, as the number and strength of monsters increase with progression. Players unlock new skills and have the opportunity to level up their weapons to enhance their combat effectiveness.

The game offers five distinct hero classes: Sniper, Assassin, Tank, Fighter, and Support. Each class has its own skill-based attributes and a unique skill set tailored to different play styles. For example, Snipers excel in long-range attacks, Assassins are adept at close combat with high damage output, Tanks offer high defense and health, Fighters balance offense and defense, and Supports provide team-based benefits.

Tactical use of equipment is crucial in Petopia. Players can choose from ranged and close combat weapons, each with its own upgrade and fusion possibilities. Additionally, players can equip their heroes with various items such as gloves, armor, boots, and accessories, all of which contribute to the hero's abilities. Equipment sets offer additional bonuses when matched.

Heroes in Petopia possess unique skills that can be unlocked by progressing through the game, the more dungeons you conquer during gameplay, the more skills you unlock. These skills play a significant role in combat strategy and effectiveness.
