The Xai Foundation has forged a significant partnership with the Media Indie Exchange (MIX) to bolster its gaming ecosystem. This collaboration is anticipated to facilitate the integration of numerous PC games into the Arbitrum-based L3 blockchain Xai.

With a focus on indie game curation, the MIX is poised to lend its expertise and extensive network of relationships to augment the emerging Xai ecosystem. Having commenced operations in December 2023, Xai envisions this strategic alliance to pave the way for the deployment of 100 games onto its specialized gaming-centric chain.

Tapping Billions of Gamers

While the primary emphasis lies on indie titles that have cultivated robust user communities on prominent PC platforms like Steam and Epic Games, the initiative also extends to games boasting flourishing blockchain economies. By furnishing game developers with trading tools, Xai aims to invigorate web3 gaming, potentially captivating an audience of "billions of gamers worldwide."

Justin Woodward, CEO of the MIX, expressed optimism about the collaboration, stating, "With the success of the Steam Community Market, it's clear that there is a market for the trading platform provided by Xai. Ecosystem of Games

Despite its recent launch in late 2023, Xai has already secured commitments from several games to debut on its platform. Noteworthy among these are the MMORPG Chains of the Eternals, Ex Populus' TCG Final Form, and Paima Studios' fully on-chain RPG Tarochi. Particularly striking is the migration of former Polygon-based Crypto Unicorns to Xai in January 2024.
