Wilder World is set to launch in Super Early Access on the Epic Games Store in July 2025. Learn about gameplay features, economic systems, and future development in this web3-enabled metaverse.
Wilder World has officially announced its plans to launch in Super Early Access (SEA) in late July 2025 through the Epic Games Store. The game will be free to play and will introduce players to a web3-enabled metaverse combining third-person and first-person shooter mechanics, competitive arena modes, and an evolving gear-based economy.
With this launch, all current non-disclosure agreements will be lifted, and players will be able to stream and share gameplay openly. According to the development team, about 25% of early access players are already engaging with the game daily, even without reward incentives, indicating a strong foundation of player interest and community participation.

The SEA rollout will occur in three planned phases, starting with "Rebellion" in the third quarter of 2025. This initial phase will include core gameplay elements such as shooter combat, gear-based progression, and arena competition. In the following quarter, the second phase titled "Wilder Wheels" will be introduced, adding a parts economy, upgraded vehicle designs, and improved racing physics. The third phase, set to begin in 2026, will expand the metaverse into a fully explorable open world with features including building, mining, and free-roam gameplay across the virtual city of Wiami.
These three phases will ultimately coexist within the broader open-world experience. Monthly updates are planned to expand Wiami city and add new content. Later this year, Wilder World is expected to introduce additional gameplay infrastructure including the Market, Garage, and customizable Avatars. These additions will support an on-chain trading system with a 2.5% marketplace fee applied to all transactions involving game items such as characters, vehicles, and weapons.

The economic system of Wilder World is built around the $WILD token, which will be central to in-game purchases and the overall metaverse economy. Players will be able to buy in-game items and skins using both fiat and cryptocurrency, with all revenue automatically used to purchase $WILD tokens on the open market. These tokens will then be burned, contributing to a deflationary supply structure. The Metropolis staking program will further support this model by distributing value generated within the ecosystem back to $WILD token holders.
The developers have indicated that major brand partnerships are in development, aimed at demonstrating how creators and businesses can leverage web3 tools and Wilder World's infrastructure to engage audiences in virtual environments. The long-term vision is to support a growing creator economy that contributes actively to the in-game ecosystem.

With the SEA launch, Wilder World will introduce weekly Pack drops starting in late July. These Packs will serve as a key monetization mechanism and source of in-game assets. Each Pack will include three limited edition items such as weapons, vehicles, clothing, or gear. Half of these items will be available through auctions, while the rest can be earned through regular gameplay. All items will be on-chain NFTs, tradable within the ecosystem.
To maintain rarity, items from a specific Era will not be re-released once that Era ends. Supply of items will gradually increase with new seasons in response to player growth and demand. In addition to free access, the game will offer a $10 monthly subscription for players who wish to participate in on-chain reward systems. Subscribers will have the opportunity to earn in-game assets while helping reduce the impact of bots and farming activities.
Following its launch on the Epic Games Store, Wilder World aims to expand its platform availability. Plans are in place to bring the game to Steam and Nvidia GeForce Now in 2026, with discussions underway to enable future console access. This cross-platform approach aligns with the project’s broader goal of increasing accessibility and attracting a diverse player base.

Wilder World is also progressing in the development of its associated technologies, including the ZERO platform and the Z Chain. ZERO, originally a protocol and infrastructure layer, is evolving into a standalone product. Scheduled for launch in the third quarter of 2025, it will feature on-chain rewards, self-custody wallets, social and creator tokens, and the decentralized ZODE network. The Z Chain, developed in collaboration with Polygon, AggLayer, and Gateway, is now live on mainnet.
With this development, Wilder World and ZERO will soon support account abstraction and broader on-chain functionality. Game data such as player stats will be recorded on Z Chain as soulbound ERC20 tokens, while items like ammo, grenades, and health packs will use the ERC1155 standard, making them tradable and burnable. The MEOW token is being introduced as an experimental memecoin across multiple https://gam3s.gg/chains/blockchains, starting with Avalanche. It is intended to allow for cross-ecosystem experimentation and will operate in tandem with Wilder World’s primary economy.
Wilder World Sets July 2025 Launch
With a phased release strategy, integrated digital economy, and planned expansion across platforms and blockchain technologies, Wilder World is positioning itself as a comprehensive metaverse experience. The Super Early Access launch in July 2025 will mark the beginning of a new chapter for the game, aiming to attract players from both web2 and web3 communities while building toward long-term sustainability and innovation in the gaming space.
