Treeverse is officially kicking off its Season 1 Reward Campaign on April 19, 2025, marking the beginning of a new chapter in its evolving web3 ecosystem. Unlike standard airdrops, this campaign is based on in-game performance, early ecosystem participation, and NFT ownership, offering meaningful rewards to those who’ve supported the game’s journey so far. It’s also the first step toward introducing the upcoming $END token, which will serve as the central currency in Treeverse’s game economy once live.

What is Treeverse?

Treeverse is an anime-inspired MMORPG that blends classic gameplay systems with optional Web3 features. Developed by Endless Clouds, the game features a top-down view, action-based combat, skill-based progression, and an explorable world filled with dungeons, resources, and creatures. Players start their journey in the city of Lorwick and can engage in everything from monster hunting to fishing and crafting.

What is the Season 1 Reward Campaign?

The Season 1 Reward Campaign is a four-week event that starts on April 19, 2025 and ends on May 19, 2025. During this time, Treeverse will distribute 2.76% of the total supply of its upcoming $END token to eligible participants. The campaign is focused on rewarding players who’ve actively contributed through gameplay and community involvement.

The reward system is performance-based, relying on several in-game leaderboards:

  • Dungeon Challenge completions
  • Gold collected
  • Total XP gained
  • Monster Shards earned

While top performers will receive higher allocations, participation in non-combat activities like mining and fishing will also contribute to rewards. Treeverse isn’t just rewarding hardcore grinders, it’s acknowledging all types of engagement throughout the game.

NFTs: Packs, Boosts, and Crowns

Alongside the Season 1 Reward Campaign, Treeverse is launching its first set of NFTs on Immutable zkEVM. These NFTs are split into two categories: Soulbound (SBTs) and Tradable.

SBTs include Packs and Boosts, which are non-tradable after purchase. These items are locked to the buyer’s wallet and can’t be transferred or sold. Specifics on what each Pack or Boost includes will be shared directly on the NFT claim site once it goes live. On the tradable side, Treeverse is introducing Crowns, which collectible NFTs available through open minting for 30 days, with a hard cap of 1 per address. There are four different types of Crowns, each designed to offer unique cosmetic appeal or future utility.

The official site to mint these NFTs will be announced on launch day. Purchases will be available in USDC or ETH, and players will need to bridge assets to Immutable zkEVM ahead of time to participate.

Who’s Eligible?

To be eligible for Season 1 rewards, players must have participated in Treeverse pre-alpha activities, including gameplay or community contributions. The system uses wallet activity and in-game data to assess eligibility and calculate allocations. NFT holders will also benefit from reward multipliers based on the NFTs they own:

  • Timeless Avatars: +1.05x
  • Plots: +1.25x
  • NFTrees:  +1.75x

These NFTs were part of Treeverse’s ecosystem long before gameplay launched, and their integration into the campaign adds additional value for holders.

Note: Owning multiple NFTs of the same type does not stack the multiplier. Only the highest bonus per category is applied.

What Is the $END Token?

Treeverse $END token is the game's official ERC-20 token with a fixed supply of 500 million. It will be used for cosmetics, time-limited content, and future governance or in-game features. Take note that the token is not yet live. The Token Generation Event (TGE) is planned for no earlier than one month after the campaign ends. At TGE, all rewards will be 100% unlocked, with no vesting or play-to-unlock. There will be no token trading or distribution during the campaign.

What About Season 2?

Season 1 doesn't end with the rewards, gameplay will continue after the campaign wraps up. However, Season 2 is already in the pipeline. Endless Clouds has confirmed that the next season will arrive alongside major game updates and adjustments, though no launch date has been announced yet.

When Season 2 does arrive, the game will undergo another data reset, similar to the one that occurred before Season 1. This ensures a fresh start tied to new features and progression systems. The reset won’t happen immediately, and players can expect Season 1 content to remain live for the foreseeable future. Treeverse is also continuing to work on integrating its NFT collections more deeply into gameplay. Plots, NFTrees, and Timeless Avatars will receive new functionality over the next one to two years as more features are introduced.

Final Thoughts

Treeverse’s Season 1 Reward Campaign highlights a practical approach to web3 gaming. One where actual gameplay, not speculation, drives rewards. By tying progress to performance and ecosystem involvement, it rewards players who spend time exploring, questing, and genuinely engaging with the game. The added NFT utility through Crowns, Boosts, and Packs also signals a step toward making ownership more meaningful, as these assets begin to offer in-game perks and progression rather than existing purely as collectibles. At its core, Treeverse is still a game, and this campaign reinforces that playing, progressing, and having fun can go hand-in-hand with earning. With $END on the way and more seasons planned, players who’ve stuck around and enjoyed the experience are now starting to see that effort pay off.
