Supervillain Wanted v1.0.0 Now Live

Supervillain Labs has officially released version 1.0.0 of Supervillain Wanted, marking the game's full launch after nearly a year of development and testing. The update, which began rolling out on April 18 across Google Play and the App Store, introduces a full-scale gameplay rework and a collaboration with the anime series I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level, commonly referred to as Slime 300.

About Supervillain Labs

The update represents a significant moment in the title’s development as it transitions from soft launch to a fully released mobile role-playing game. Lucas, the CEO and co-founder of Supervillain Labs, described the release as a major step forward for the studio and the game itself. In the official patch notes, he stated that the update reflects the outcome of internal restructuring efforts aimed at delivering a more consistent and engaging experience for players.

Slime 300 Crossover Brings New Content

The highlight of version 1.0.0 is a collaborative event featuring characters from Slime 300, a popular anime and light novel franchise with a global audience. The crossover runs from April 18 to May 15 and introduces Azusa, the main character of the series, as a playable Captain. Alongside her, six additional characters from the series join Supervillain Wanted as Legendary Villains.

Players participating in the event can access three new challenge dungeons exclusive to the collaboration. These dungeons offer ranking-based rewards, which include limited-edition costumes such as Azusa’s Maid Dress and Banquet Dress. Event materials collected during gameplay can be exchanged for in-game items through a dedicated shop. The timing of the crossover aligns with the release of Slime 300 Season 2, bringing additional visibility to the event and adding new narrative elements to the game’s fantasy setting.

New Damage, Characters and Rewards

The core gameplay systems in Supervillain Wanted have been rebuilt as part of this update. Villain damage has been increased across all characters, resulting in more dynamic combat. Changes to the Villain Grade system have been made to improve balance, with many characters receiving upgraded classifications and elemental adjustments. No characters were downgraded during this process.

The update also adjusts in-game progression and reward structures. Rewards from sector and dungeon milestones have been increased, and the Memory Stone requirements for advancement have been reduced. These changes aim to create a smoother experience for new players while maintaining engagement for returning users. New villains categorized under “Gang” and “Kong” color squads have also been added, offering more options for team-building in the early stages of the game.

Version 1.0.0 Introduces New Systems

In addition to gameplay changes, version 1.0.0 introduces new systems and enhancements to existing features. The Cooking system now has a higher level cap, increasing from 12 to 20, which improves summon rates for higher-grade villains. Fusion mechanics have also been updated, allowing players to convert villain shards into Memory and Elemental Stones.

A newly implemented Team Level system assists players in matching game difficulty with their available roster. Boss level displays now appear in battles to provide better insight into encounter difficulty. The Ascension level cap has been raised across all character grades, and new resource balancing rules have been applied. The update also includes several bug fixes that address app freezes, incorrect skill effects, and visual issues. Some minor bugs, such as self-liking in challenge rankings, are still being reviewed for future patches.

Full Launch Celebrated with In-Game Rewards

To mark the full release of Supervillain Wanted, all players received a launch gift that includes 30,000 Diamonds, 4 Limit Break Tickets, and 10 Slime 300 Challenge Tickets. This marks the end of a development phase that began with the game’s soft launch last summer and serves as a thank-you to the community that supported the game through its early stages.

Lucas concluded the patch notes with a message of appreciation to the player base, acknowledging their role in helping the game reach this stage. With the latest update, Supervillain Wanted is positioning itself for future growth, aiming to become a notable title within the mobile RPG genre, particularly in the web3-adjacent gaming space.
