Supervillain Labs has announced the launch of its anticipated idle RPG, Supervillain Wanted, which is now available on Android and iOS. The new game invites players to build strategic teams of Villains and Sidekicks, engage in combat, and rise to fame. With an impressive initial reception of over 100,000 downloads within the first four hours, Supervillain Wanted offers a unique blend of fun gameplay, enhanced by exclusive pre-registration bonuses and the exciting Sidekick Race event featuring weekly cash prizes and a $7.2k prize pool.
New Free-To-Play Idle RPG Supervillain Wanted
Supervillain Labs operates within the Aptos ecosystem and aims to merge web2 and web3 gaming experiences. The studio’s platform supports a range of gaming assets, including Villains, Sidekicks, and SuperVillains, which players can collect, upgrade, and trade. Supervillain Wanted marks the studio’s debut flagship title, with additional projects like Project ARK and Supervillain Village also in development.
In a departure from many blockchain games, SVL has established a Community Fund to foster a sustainable GameFi ecosystem. Rather than relying on gaming tokens, about 10% of the net revenue from in-app purchases, ad revenues, and other sources is allocated to this fund. This approach ensures that rewards, distributed in stablecoin or APT tokens, benefit both players and active community members.
Idle RPG By Supervillain Labs
Supervillain Wanted is designed to offer an engaging and accessible gaming experience where players assemble teams of Villains and Sidekicks. The core gameplay involves strategic squad building, trading items, and upgrading gear to enhance one's team. The aim is to rise to prominence by leveraging both strategic and effortless gameplay elements.
In the new RPG, players select a Captain, who serves as the leader of their squad. The Captain can utilize one of three combat mechanisms: combo, counter, or critical attacks. This system introduces a rock-paper-scissors dynamic to the gameplay, ensuring balanced and strategic encounters. Additionally, Captains can enhance their skills and control crowds through various effects.
Characters, Villains, Sidekick, SuperVillains and Trading
Villains, which are obtained through in-game activities, form the backbone of a player’s squad. These characters come with five distinct elements, each offering unique skills and synergies with the Captain's combat style. As Villains level up, they unlock and enhance more powerful abilities using in-game materials.
Sidekicks, which can be caught and tamed during gameplay, support Villains by augmenting their abilities. Legendary Sidekicks, however, are rarer and can be captured only twice daily. These Sidekicks do not require additional resources for growth, with their effectiveness being largely dependent on the player's luck during encounters.
Players who pre-registered for the free-to-play game were rewarded with exclusive in-game items. These include a Legendary Villain and an Uncommon Sidekick, which provide significant advantages and allow early adopters to start the game with powerful allies.

To celebrate the game’s launch, SVL has introduced the Sidekick Race event. This competition offers weekly cash prizes and invites players to collect Sidekicks and participate in relay races. To enter, players need at least four Sidekicks, which can be acquired through Sidekick Capsules available in the web shop or secondary markets. Players should link their SVL account to the game to import Sidekicks from their inventory.
Each player receives one free Race Ticket per day, with additional tickets available for purchase through the One-Time Smarter Package. The race incorporates various elements such as weather conditions, day/night cycles, and random obstacles, adding complexity to the competition. The leaderboard features daily and weekly prizes, with a total prize pool of $7,200 for August. Top performers receive cash rewards and additional Sidekick Capsules.
