MetalCore is a sci-fi MMO that features epic mech and PvPvE battles, deep crafting mechanics, and a player-driven economy. Set on the planet Kerberos, players must survive as foot soldiers, climb the ranks, and grow their arsenal of mechs and war machines. Notably, the crypto game is the first title built directly on the Immutable zkEVM.
MetalCore has won accolades such as the Global Blockchain Show’s Best Blockchain Game of the Year and our GAM3 2022 Award for Best Shooter Game. The game’s innovative “scanning” system allows players to craft new weapons and vehicles from blueprints obtained from fallen enemies, adding a unique layer to its gameplay.

MetalCore's CB3 brings a fresh competitive edge with session-based PvP esports competitions. Players can now dive into intense, time-bound scenarios across modes such as Domination, Capture the Flag, and High-Value Target. These modes aim to deliver fast-paced, strategic gameplay that keeps players on the edge of their seats.
Additionally, CB3 debuts faction-based social hubs. These exclusive in-game destinations allow players to connect with members of their faction, fostering a sense of community and collaboration within the game. This new feature enhances the social experience, making it easier for players to strategize and form alliances.

The latest beta phase introduces significant changes to MetalCore’s economy. Players can now use fiat currency to purchase in-game digital collectibles and SHARDS, an off-chain currency. This addition is designed to broaden the game’s economic reach and provide players with more progression and customization options. SHARDS will play a crucial role in player progression, cosmetics, and quality-of-life improvements within the game.
In-Game Rewards and Off-Chain Points
The MetalCore economy operates with three primary currencies, each serving distinct functions to enhance gameplay and player engagement:

CB3 follows the highly successful Closed Beta 2.5, which saw 124,000 waitlisted gamers and 50,000 active users who averaged 10 hours of gameplay each. The previous beta phase also introduced the Ambassador Program and blueprint scanning capabilities, which have been well-received by the community.
The new update further immerses players in the ongoing faction wars on Kerberos. The centuries-old conflict between the Holy Corporation, Gearbreakers, and Metalpunks forms the backdrop for new PvE missions and ambient world conflicts. Players can explore a vast open world filled with diverse landscapes, wildlife, and a dynamic mission system designed to offer unique experiences each session.
In addition to gameplay enhancements, CB3 introduces five levels of Founders Packs. These packs include a selection of Infantry, Mechs, Weapons, and SHARDS, providing players with the essential tools to thrive in MetalCore’s universe. Returning players with an Epic Games Store key will have access to CB3, while new players can gain guaranteed access by purchasing a Founders Pack.

With this next phase of Closed Beta, we’ve taken community-driven development to the next level and have introduced leaderboards to add an extra layer of competition.”
