Spielworks recently finalized the acquisition of Wasder.gg, a gamified social gaming platform with over 1.5 million downloads on Google Play. It provides players with a space for self-expression, connection, game exploration, and rewards. The Wasder season pass incentivizes friendly community engagement, contributing to the goal of creating a fun and inclusive global gaming community. Founded in 2018 by Swen E. Hallasch and Adrian Krion, Berlin-based Spielworks brings blockchain benefits to mass-market gaming, offering true ownership of digital assets and secure token handling. Operating Wombat, AtomicHub, and the Top-20 web3 game Dungeon Master, the acquisition of Wasder.gg marks a significant milestone in Spielworks' journey to redefine the gaming landscape.

Wasder.gg is recognized for its innovative features such as seasonal boosts, battle passes, content sharing, matchmaking, and chat functionalities, contributing to its popularity in the gaming community. Taking inspiration from successful models like Epic Games, Spielworks plans to integrate Wasder's social foundation into the Wombat ecosystem. This strategic move aims to strengthen connections among games, players, and digital asset trades, creating a more dynamic and cohesive gaming community within Wombat.

Adrian Krion, CEO of Spielworks, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, noting, "With the acquisition of AtomicHub and now Wasder, we've added essential elements to our complete Web3 gaming ecosystem, exceeding 7 million users."

The acquisition signifies a transformative step for Spielworks, positioning the company as a full-service ecosystem meeting the diverse needs of modern-day gamers. The addition of Wasder to its suite will enable Spielworks to enhance in-app interactivity in its Wombat app, establishing a robust social hub for players.

Thomas Grønnevik, CEO & Founder of Wasder, shared his thoughts, stating, "Building Wasder over the last 6 years has been one of the big honors of my life. It feels good to see what we have built being taken over by an experienced team believing in fun, inclusive, and rewarding player experiences."

The collaboration between Spielworks and Wasder aims to set a new standard in areas where web3 games have faced challenges, including ease of use, content richness, and accessibility. With combined expertise in engaging gaming audiences, players can expect an experience that goes beyond existing boundaries.
