Sky Mavis, the company behind the Ronin blockchain, has announced the launch of Ronin Forge, an early access program designed to support web3 game developers. This initiative aims to bring new and experimental titles to the Ronin blockchain, providing developers with both financial and technical support.

Sky Mavis has opened applications for the program and plans to select six teams on a rolling basis. The ideal candidates are those who have games in the late alpha or early beta stages, approximately 3-6 months from launch and possess a strong interest in web3 games, NFTs, and tokens.

Aleksander Leonard Larsen, COO and co-founder of Sky Mavis, emphasized the program’s goal in a statement: “Ronin Forge is the next step in further opening up Ronin for builders. Offering grants and access to the Sky Mavis ecosystem will serve as an experimental ground for developing the next generation of web3 games. We aim to encourage innovation and build network effects, inviting like-minded studios to join on our path towards scaling the Ronin Network.”

Successful developers in the Ronin Forge program will have the opportunity to become Studio Partners. This status provides additional benefits, including white-glove advisory support and up to $500,000 in further funding, enabling developers to bring their web3 gaming visions to fruition with enhanced resources.
