Game Modes and Difficulties

Currently, players can engage in two main game modes:

• Shadow Arena (PvP): Available now, players battle against the shadows of other players, aiming to achieve 10 wins before accruing 5 losses.
• Solo Missions: Set to release soon, this mode will feature waves of enemies, Shrapnel lore, and three epic bosses.

The game also offers three difficulty levels:

• Novice: Free to play and ideal for beginners.
• Veteran: Unlockable by winning Novice battles.
• Elite: For the most challenging experience, also unlockable through success at the Veteran level.

Rewards and Progression

Winning on Veteran and Elite difficulties rewards players with METAL, an off-chain points system used for future ecosystem rewards. Completing the Novice difficulty grants Play Credits, which can be used to access the higher difficulty levels. Notably, holders of Shrapnel Operator NFTs receive five Play Credits daily for attempting runs on any difficulty.

Getting Started
