Late in the third quarter of 2023, Saga helped initiate the 2024 crypto airdrop season by unveiling the criteria for the Saga Innovators, builders, and their dedicated gamers. Following the success of Saga Advent in December, the Play-to-Airdrop campaign, the community now braces for the final major element of the Genesis Airdrop. With snapshots completed, Saga presents detailed information on how the broader community can partake in this unique opportunity.

Eligibility Criteria and Methodology

Saga, approaching the Mainnet launch in 2024, places great emphasis on loyalty. In addition to securing the Mainnet and paying for Chainlets, the $SAGA token represents a shared community of values. The airdrop aims to reward and encourage loyalty, defining it by active engagement and a long-term perspective in the crypto ecosystem.

To express gratitude to early supporters and believers, Saga extends the airdrop to key partners and communities, including Celestia, Polygon, Avalanche, and the ATOM community. The airdrop recipients will be determined based on specific criteria tailored to each community.

Methodology

Eligible participants in each community will fall into small, medium, and large airdrop categories, with each tier receiving 5x the airdrop of the previous one. A loyalty bonus multiplier (4x) will be applied to those demonstrating exceptional loyalty.

Eligibility Criteria

ATOM Community: Over 101,000 wallets increasing stake from 04/20/2023 to 10/20/2023 with more than 25 $ATOM staked on 10/20/2023 are eligible, with a loyalty bonus for those increasing stake by more than 30% during that period.

Celestia Community: More than 27,000 wallets staking more than 23 $TIA on 12/01/2023 are eligible, with a loyalty bonus for those increasing stake from 11/07/2023 to 12/01/2023.

Polygon Community: Over 26,000 wallets staking more than 300 $MATIC on 10/20/2023 or bridging more than 0.4 $ETH using the ZKEVM bridge are eligible, with a loyalty bonus for those increasing stake from 04/20/2023 to 10/20/2023.

Avalanche Community: Over 26,000 wallets staking $AVAX on 04/20/2023 or 10/20/2023 are eligible, with a loyalty bonus for those with a staking duration greater than 150 days.

For those not meeting the specific staking criteria, Saga introduced the "Play to Airdrop" campaign in December. This initiative involved collaboration with web3 games like Generative Dungeon and Rogue Nation. Participants engage in specified games during designated periods, aiming to secure a prominent position on the leaderboard. While season one has concluded, anticipation surrounds the upcoming season two, promising fresh opportunities for participants to earn $SAGA tokens through gameplay.

The Three Kingdoms

Introducing Season 2 of the Play-to-Airdrop campaign – The Three Kingdoms. In collaboration with key partners Avalanche, Polygon, and Solana, Saga will host tournaments for games building cross-chain between Saga and each partner ecosystem from January to February. Follow Saga on various platforms for timely announcements and tournament details.

Saga Developer Tournaments

To involve individual developers, Saga will run 2-3 tournaments during January-February, opening the Pegasus Testnet for stress-testing. Details will be released soon, emphasizing the importance of following Saga's socials for the latest updates.
