Epoch 1, titled Age of Heroes, marks a significant milestone for Legendary Heroes Unchained, the blockchain-based RPG developed by N3twork Studios. This latest update introduces a host of new features and an expansion onto the Base network, allowing players to earn NFT heroes through gameplay and leaderboard achievements. As part of this upgrade, players can access new gameplay modes, a Guild System, and a marketplace, enhancing the player-driven ownership model that Legendary Heroes Unchained aims to deliver.
Legendary Heroes Unchained Champion Series
Legendary Heroes Unchained offers players a gaming experience characterized by high levels of customization and meaningful ownership. Unlike conventional games, where players merely acquire in-game assets, LHU enables players to have true agency over their gaming journey.
Heroes and lands in the game come with unique stats, attributes, and visual designs that players can tailor to fit their preferences, establishing a personalized and dynamic experience. As the game progresses through its Epochs, players will have the opportunity to carry their customized assets into other games and even integrate them into personal storylines, extending the lifespan and value of their digital assets.

The Epoch 1 update, live as of November 8th, transforms Legendary Heroes Unchained into a more extensive web3 gaming experience. The update allows players to progress through both PvE and PvP gameplay, gradually leveling up heroes that can eventually be traded as NFTs. Players can access the game for free through their web browser by connecting an existing wallet or creating one using Google or email. Upon starting, new players can mint a free Starter Pack that includes five hero cards, allowing them to explore Dungeons and fight in PvE battles.
In Legendary Heroes Unchained, players progress through Dungeons by choosing paths on a 2D map, each leading to various challenges or rewards. Each dungeon has multiple nodes, presenting battle challenges, boss fights, and treasure opportunities that increase the player’s chances of obtaining rewards, including Energy, items, and hero upgrades. Combat is turn-based, with players deploying a team of five heroes to engage in strategic battles.
Each hero card is aligned with an elemental affinity (such as water, earth, or fire), which impacts damage based on the enemy’s elemental alignment, adding depth to the game’s strategy. If players reach the maximum level with their starter heroes, they can transform them into tradable NFTs. These can then be sold on the integrated marketplace, opening up further avenues for players to trade and own unique assets in the game.

In Epoch 1, competitive players have the opportunity to earn Champion Series NFT heroes by placing high on daily leaderboards in Dungeon and Portal gameplay. These NFTs offer customization options through editable metadata, which can be adapted for other compatible games in the web3 ecosystem. The introduction of the Base network marketplace allows users to trade cards with each other, using ETH or credit/debit cards, making Legendary Heroes Unchained accessible to both crypto enthusiasts and traditional card game players.
The Guild System, a notable addition in Epoch 1, fosters community engagement and collaborative gameplay. Players who upgrade a hero to level 7 can form or join guilds, allowing them to complete challenges together and earn guild-specific currencies. These currencies are vital for advancing the guild’s rank and for players’ own Loyalty XP, which could yield future in-game advantages. Each guild can assign members one of four distinct roles and create a customized sigil for their team using a range of design options.
Winter Biome Legendary Heroes Unchained
The Epoch 1 release also brings features like Artifact System 2.0, new dungeon biomes, and OpenSea integration, laying the groundwork for a more interconnected ecosystem. As outlined in the whitepaper, Legendary Heroes Unchained will continue to expand through four Epochs, each adding new features and opportunities for players to own and trade digital assets within the game and potentially across other platforms in the web3 space. However, details on the timeline for future phases remain forthcoming.
With the launch of Epoch 1, Legendary Heroes Unchained aims to pioneer a new model of digital ownership and player-driven ecosystems in the web3 gaming sector. The combination of NFT rewards, a built-in marketplace, and a collaborative Guild System solidifies this blockchain RPG as a notable addition to the evolving world of decentralized gaming.
