Tavernlight Games, the studio behind the web3 sandbox MMORPG RavenQuest, has announced the launch of a new idle RPG titled RavenIdle. Set within the same fantasy universe, RavenIdle is scheduled to begin its Season 0 on July 4. The game will adopt a play to earn model and operate on Immutable’s blockchain infrastructure. This marks a continued expansion of Tavernlight’s presence within the web3 gaming space, building on the foundation laid by their original title, RavenQuest.

RavenIdle is designed as an idle RPG where players can progress and earn rewards passively. The game allows players to send characters on automated adventures, including dungeon runs filled with enemies across multiple levels. These characters can be customized through skill points allocated across three distinct trees, giving players strategic control over their builds.

Beyond combat, RavenIdle introduces land development features where players can grow crops and manage trade routes between cities. Additional systems such as resource gathering, mining, and crafting support the creation of stronger equipment and characters. The gameplay is structured to allow for short daily sessions, with ongoing opportunities to earn in-game tokens and exclusive rewards through missions, such as defeating specific types of enemies or producing large quantities of crafted items.

Season 0 of RavenIdle will launch with a prize pool seeded at $70,000. The total reward pool has the potential to grow up to $570,000 depending on the number of Battle Passes purchased by players.
