Available from June 4, Infinite Tides brings a roguelite format to the fully on-chain browser-based game. This new mode challenges players to clear 25 sequential waves of turn-based combat using a single Ship, with health carrying over from one battle to the next. Each completed wave provides various in-game rewards, and players who successfully defeat all 25 waves without being eliminated earn an exclusive limited edition skin.

Infinite Tides begins with players selecting one Pirate and one Ship, each providing two unique cards, contributing to a starting deck of eleven cards. At the end of every victorious wave, players are given the option to enhance their deck by choosing one of three new cards, with the option to skip selection if none are preferred. Holders of the Pirate Nation VIP Pass are granted a fourth card choice following each wave, offering additional strategic flexibility. The game mode retains a player's Ship health between waves, adding a layer of planning and resource management that increases as the difficulty scales throughout all 25 waves.

Players who manage to complete all waves in a single run are rewarded with the Hanzo the Samurai skin. This limited edition skin is only available to those who succeed in completing the mode before June 11, offering a short window of opportunity to earn the exclusive reward. The developers have also announced plans to introduce leaderboards for Infinite Tides in the future, allowing for more competitive participation and performance tracking in subsequent iterations of the mode.

Three Infinite Tides Keys and Free Play

To access Infinite Tides, players can log in to Pirate Nation and navigate to the left-side panel of the main game screen. There, the new PvE mode icon appears next to the existing player-versus-player (PvP) feature. Each day, players receive three Infinite Tides Keys at no cost, granting them three free attempts to play. Additional keys can be purchased—up to three per day—using 50 Gems each. Player level influences the quality of available Pirate and Ship cards, giving long-time participants an advantage, while still offering newer users a chance to progress and earn through gameplay.

While exploring the new PvE experience, players can also join the ongoing PvP season titled Legend of Darkness. Running from May 27 through June 25, the event offers a total prize pool of two million $PIRATE tokens for the top 1,000 ranked players. This parallel event provides additional incentive for regular participation across both PvE and PvP content.
