Pixels Sees 138 Million $PIXEL Staked

In July 2025, the Pixels $PIXEL ecosystem reached a major milestone, with 138 million $PIXEL staked across its four integrated web3 games. Each of these games - Sleepagotchi, Forgotten Runiverse, Pixel Dungeons, and Core Pixels - played a role in the ecosystem's growth this month, showing increasing player activity and stronger staking performance.

Sleepagotchi Sees Growth

Sleepagotchi showed the most notable growth this month, with $PIXEL staked jumping from 8 million to 19 million. This increase came on the heels of three in-game events that offered $PIXEL rewards: Go-Green, Go-Collect, and Go-Collect 2. Together, these events distributed a total of 1.6 million $PIXEL and generated roughly the same amount in revenue.

The Go-Collect event, in particular, recorded a gross Return on Reward Spend (RORS) of 1.36, indicating that the event not only drove engagement but also produced solid returns. Looking ahead, Sleepagotchi is preparing to launch "The Big App Preview" on iOS and Android, which could further boost user activity and staking in the coming months.

Forgotten Runiverse Grand Summoning Event

Forgotten Runiverse continued its Grand Summoning referral campaign and reached its fourth milestone, which raised the prize pool to 500,000 $PIXEL from the original 150,000. This event rewards players for bringing new users into the game, and the top 50 referrers on the leaderboard are guaranteed to receive $PIXEL rewards.

Due to high engagement, the event has been extended through July 25. In addition to referrals, Forgotten Runiverse is also running a player-versus-player tournament with a 450,000 $PIXEL prize pool. The top three guilds will receive rewards, adding another layer of competitive play to the platform’s user experience.

Pixel Dungeons Reports Strong Revenue

Pixel Dungeons reached its all-time high in total $PIXEL staked this month and distributed 350,000 $PIXEL to stakers. The platform also saw month-over-month growth in several key revenue areas. Reroll revenue increased by 27 percent, while revenue from purchases was up 30 percent. Overall, total revenue rose by 15 percent compared to the previous month. The Annual Percentage Rate (APR) for staking continues to rise, driven by stronger in-game economics and growing user commitment.

Core Pixels Launches VIP Tiering

Core Pixels, the central platform in the ecosystem, has now surpassed 86.7 million $PIXEL staked. Over the past month, 5.6 million $PIXEL were distributed to stakers, with 2.16 million already restaked. Another 1.9 million $PIXEL in rewards remains unclaimed. To add more long-term value for players, Core Pixels introduced a new VIP Tiering System.

Players now earn a VIP score based on their in-game $PIXEL spending, which determines their VIP tier. Upgrades happen automatically when a player's score crosses the required threshold. Once players reach Tier 1, they stay there as long as VIP status remains active. If a player’s VIP status expires, there is a 30-day grace period to return and retain their previous tier. This new system has led to an APR of 91 percent, as more users lock up their tokens through in-game purchases.

The combined efforts across Sleepagotchi, Forgotten Runiverse, Pixel Dungeons, and Core Pixels show how a shared token economy can gain momentum when each project contributes value.
