What is Paradise Tycoon?

For those unfamiliar with Paradise Tycoon, it's a farming and building game reminiscent of Stardew Valley, where players inherit a tropical island and must revitalize it by cleaning, crafting, and decorating. The multiplayer RPG is built by the game studio Empires Not Vampires Ltd. Currently in Public Beta 2, the game supports in-game resource trading and NFT transactions for crafted items and blueprints.

The Beta 2 release of Paradise Tycoon brought significant enhancements and additions to the game. Players got to enjoy an enriched gaming experience with improved mechanics and a variety of new activities. NFT holders were very engaged with the game during Season 1 and claimed over 1 million MOANI tokens.

Free-tier players also participated by collecting badges, which made them eligible for rewards at the end of the Play-to-Airdrop season (see details below). Notably, the game moved from Avalanche to Immutable, prompting players to stay updated on NFT migrations before engaging in transactions.

Season 1 Ends, Season 2 Coming Soon

Despite Season 1 ending, Paradise Tycoon remains fully accessible to players. Notably, the development team has assured that there will be no reset of player progress before Season 2 begins. This means that players can dive back into the game immediately and make progress without any setbacks.

While detailed statistics for the entire season are not yet available, it was reported that during the first two days of Season 1, players claimed over 100,000 MOANI tokens. These tokens serve as the primary in-game currency, enabling players to make in-app purchases, trade with other players, cover minting fees and participate in special events.

Even though activities during this interim period won’t count towards any airdrops, players can still earn MOANI tokens through daily trades. At the Moani Trading Terminal located in Port Ohana, the game's multiplayer social hub, players can exchange items for MOANI tokens. Each day, three new trades will be available, and each player can complete all three trades once daily. This feature provides a steady, albeit limited, way to accumulate tokens while preparing for the new season.

Migrate Alpha NFTs to Immutable

Players who possess Genesis NFTs from Paradise Tycoon’s early alpha stage now have the option to migrate these NFTs to the Immutable zkEVM chain. To do this, players need to visit the migration website and connect their Metamask wallet, which holds the NFTs on the Avax C-Chain network, along with their Immutable Passport. It’s important to note that only item NFTs can be migrated, not the chests. For those with Genesis chests, these can be opened through a different link provided by the game.
