Game developer Empires Not Vampires has announced that Paradise Tycoon will be launching on Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PlayStation by the end of 2025. This expansion into the console market is made possible through a publishing agreement with Bonus Stage Publishing, a company known for its expertise in traditional game publishing across multiple platforms.
Paradise Tycoon is a multiplayer 3D life simulation game that allows players to build and customize their own islands while engaging in various activities such as gathering resources, farming, participating in events, and socializing with friends. Unlike traditional life simulation games, Paradise Tycoon incorporates blockchain technology, allowing players to earn and trade digital assets within the game.
The game has recently chosen Avalanche as the blockchain for its $MOANI token launch while continuing to operate on Immutable zkEVM. The token generation event is scheduled for April, and players can earn $MOANI through different in-game activities, including completing quests, trading in the auction house, and participating in seasonal events. The in-game currency can be used for island purchases and rentals, competition fees, consumables, and various other virtual goods.
In March, Paradise Tycoon hosted the Safe Harbor event, where players worked together to build and upgrade a harbor as part of a collaborative gameplay experience. Participants had the opportunity to earn $MOANI tokens and exclusive NFTs as rewards. The game continues to introduce new events and updates, reinforcing its position as an interactive and evolving web3 gaming experience.

The decision to bring Paradise Tycoon to consoles marks a significant step in the game's growth. Empires Not Vampires emphasized that this transition would not have been possible without the support of Bonus Stage Publishing, which has experience in navigating the complexities of console distribution.
While it is possible for developers to obtain licenses and self-publish on consoles, the co-founder of Empires Not Vampires explained that each platform has its own requirements and challenges that require industry knowledge to succeed. Although the development team has worked on console games before, their previous experience was primarily focused on mobile publishing. Partnering with an established publisher ensures that Paradise Tycoon is effectively positioned for success on new platforms.
Paradise Tycoon Coming to Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PlayStation
One of the notable aspects of this expansion is the rarity of a blockchain-based game making its way to traditional gaming consoles. The co-founder of Empires Not Vampires addressed this challenge in a social media post, explaining that many publishers are still hesitant about web3 games. However, Bonus Stage Publishing saw enough potential in Paradise Tycoon to take on the project, despite the risks often associated with blockchain gaming. This highlights the increasing crossover between web3 gaming and mainstream gaming platforms, as more developers explore ways to integrate blockchain technology while maintaining a player-friendly experience.
Bonus Stage Publishing is a well-established publisher in the gaming industry, with experience in publishing web2 games on platforms such as Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox. The company has successfully launched multiple titles, including Sledders, a snowmobile simulator that received highly positive reviews on Steam. With a strong understanding of console game publishing, Bonus Stage Publishing is expected to play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth transition of Paradise Tycoon from mobile and web to traditional gaming consoles.
Q2 2025: Create, Earn, Compete
With its upcoming launch on consoles, Paradise Tycoon is set to reach a broader audience beyond mobile and web3 gaming communities. The expansion aligns with a growing trend where blockchain-based games are gradually entering mainstream gaming markets. The game's development team, along with Bonus Stage Publishing, is expected to release further details on the console versions in the near future.
Currently available in open beta, Paradise Tycoon can be played on web browsers and mobile devices, including Android and iOS via the Play Store and App Store. Players interested in experiencing the game before its official console release can join the open beta and explore its features while the game continues to evolve.
