First, What is OverTrip?

Launched on the Epic Games Store in June, OverTrip is a free-to-play third-person battle royale game backed by Gamestarter, Surgence, and Shima Capital. As of July 10th, the game is available on both Mac and Windows PCs. Players can experience the early access version of this stylish, skill-based shooter, engaging in 20-player arenas, completing daily and weekly missions, and competing on various leaderboards.

For the game's first week, players can enjoy Free Mode, which introduces the game's mechanics through 18-minute matches or until only one player remains. Following this period, a new mode called Skill/Stake Mode will be released. This mode features reward-driven matches based on "token-based matchmaking," allowing players to test their skills in high-stakes battles of the same size and duration as those in Free Mode, with the opportunity to earn $TRIP tokens by winning matches.

To join Season 2 of the airdrop program on Trippy Terminal, players need to claim a free Battle Pass on the dApp. Registration can be done using an email, X (formerly known as Twitter), or an Epic Games account. After registration, players must like, share, and reply to a specific X post to claim their Battle Pass.

Battle Pass Perks & Token Allocation

With a Battle Pass, players unlock access to the 25 million $TRIP token pool and can enter future play-to-earn tournaments with prizes over $10,000. Players also receive exclusive in-game items such as weapons, skins, and emotes.  By completing Season 1 social media-based tasks on Trippy Terminal, players earn points that determine their allocation of $TRIP tokens, with all tokens unlocking at TGE (Token Generation Event).

Season 2 missions, focusing on in-game performance, went live on July 10th. Trippy Token Packs, containing 1000 $TRIP tokens each, are distributed through social-based quests on the official Discord server and other activities.
