Game-Optimized Blockchain

Oasys is renowned for its game-optimized blockchain that offers a scalable Layer 1 hub and specialized Layer 2 using Ethereum’s scaling solution. This ecosystem provides game developers with a secure and efficient blockchain infrastructure, facilitating the creation of interoperable games. Among Oasys’ validators are industry leaders like SEGA, Ubisoft, and Yield Guild Games, who act as initial validators in the Proof-of-Stake (PoS) based blockchain.

Oasys' main goal is to help solve challenges faced by game developers in the blockchain space by creating an ecosystem tailored for gamers and developers. This approach includes a fast network powered by the gaming community, a scalable network powered by AAA game developers, and a blockchain offering fast transactions with zero gas fees.

SEGA, Ubisoft, and Com2uS

A series of recent partnerships with Asian gaming and tech giants like Com2uS and Kakao’s blockchain affiliate GroundX in Korea has seen Oasys become the go-to blockchain for web3 gamers in the region.

Oasys is expanding its foothold in strategic gaming markets with the digital asset wallet developed by GroundX as well as increasing its game catalog, onboarding hit titles like Summoners War: Chronicles and The Walking Dead: All-Stars.

Collaborations have been instrumental in amplifying Oasys's influence and reach within the web3 gaming community. A strategic partnership with Ubisoft will see the gaming giant deploy their avant-garde PVP Tactical RPG, “Champions Tactics™ Grimoria Chronicles,” on Oasys Chain.

Before Ubisoft’s venture into the world of blockchain games, SEGA and double jump.tokyo revealed Battle of Three Kingdoms — a blockchain TCG created using SEGA’s iconic arcade game IP, Sangokushi Taisen. Additionally, Bandai Namco’s foray into AI-driven gaming saw the launch of RYUZO, a blend of creativity and innovation facilitated by Oasys in combination with OASYX – the first-ever NFT project minted on Oasys’ Hub-Layer.

Japan’s Largest NFT Marketplace

The SBINFT Market now supports Oasys’ Hub-Layer (L1) and MCH Verse (L2), broadening the scope beyond its initial integration with Oasys’ HOME Verse. This development allows businesses and developers to use Oasys’ blockchain layers to sell NFTs on a reliable marketplace managed by SBINFT Corporation.

To maintain high standards, only NFTs from authorized artists and affiliated content providers are eligible for listing. This expansion is set to increase engagement from Japanese users, a crucial market for Oasys.

With the extended support to the Hub-Layer and MCH Verse, exclusive content from OASYX, Oasys’ inaugural NFT project, and MCH Verse titles such as "My Crypto Heroes" and "Chain Colosseum Phoenix" can now be listed on SBINFT Market, provided they meet SBINFT Corporation’s stringent screening criteria.

NFTs, In-Game Assets, Music and More

SBINFT, launched in 2021, is Japan's largest NFT marketplace, supporting the issuance, sale, and secondary circulation of NFTs, including digital art, music, photos, game items, and tickets.

It offers transactions via both cryptocurrencies and credit cards, simplifying the onboarding process and enhancing user accessibility. As Japan's first public and regulated blockchain-based NFT platform, SBINFT sets a high bar for compliance and user safety. Daiki Moriyama, Director of Oasys, commented:

"SBINFT Market’s support for Oasys’ Hub-Layer and MCH Verse significantly enhances our ecosystem, providing users and developers with broader opportunities for monetization and engagement within the blockchain gaming space. We are excited to deepen our presence in Japan, bringing our unique gaming-focused blockchain solutions to one of the most innovative markets in the world.”

Final Thoughts

The integration between Oasys and SBINFT Market is particularly relevant to the gaming industry as it underscores the growing convergence of blockchain technology and gaming. By leveraging Oasys' gaming-optimized blockchain infrastructure, developers can create more efficient, secure, and interoperable games.

The enhanced support from the SBINFT Market allows for broader monetization opportunities through NFT sales, enabling developers to reach a wider audience. This partnership not only facilitates the distribution of exclusive game-related NFTs but also enhances user engagement by providing a trusted and regulated marketplace.

As the gaming industry increasingly adopts blockchain technology, collaborations like these are pivotal in driving innovation and creating new economic models within the gaming ecosystem.
