Night Crows launches RAVN on July 29, introducing a seasonal tokenomics system that links in-game rewards to the web3 market through WEMIX trading, staking, and gameplay.
Night Crows, the web3-based role-playing game, is set to launch a new token named RAVN through a scheduled update on July 29. The introduction of RAVN marks the beginning of a new seasonal tokenomics model that will guide the game’s progression structure for the foreseeable future. This new system connects in-game effort to blockchain value and is structured around 14-week seasons, each offering exclusive gear and token opportunities.

Night Crows already supports a multi-token economy that includes nine utility tokens alongside CROW. These include PAPYRUS, MORION, PROMOTE, GEAR, TEAR, FEATHER, ALLOY, and ESSENCE. Each of these tokens is tied to a specific in-game material and requires a minting fee paid in vDIA, a resource gained through trading and quests.
Token minting is subject to supply caps to help maintain economic balance. For example, minting of CROW is automatically paused if its market price drops below $0.75, a feature managed by a system called the Peg Stability Module. Once minted, tokens can be traded on WEMIX PLAY or PNIX DEX, or burned in exchange for in-game items, creating a full cycle between gameplay and blockchain functionality.

Access to token minting and conversion features becomes available at level 45. From this point, players can use the in-game Token menu to create, swap, or convert tokens using materials obtained through gameplay and fees paid in vDIA. Most utility tokens are player-generated with no pre-issued supply.
The only exception is CROW, which launched with a one-time issuance of five million tokens for initial liquidity and promotional campaigns. Players manage token trades through WEMIX PLAY and PNIX DEX. The integration of these platforms allows for seamless movement between the game and external markets, supporting the game’s web3 infrastructure.

With the July 29 update, Night Crows introduces a seasonal system designed to offer players a new path for character development. Each season will last 14 weeks, followed by a two-week break, and will include gear that is only obtainable during the active season. Players can use the new RAVN token to purchase gear chests, which contain these time-limited seasonal items.
Once a season concludes, the gear from that period will no longer be available, reinforcing the value of timely participation. Seasonal gear items occupy their own dedicated slots in a player's inventory and contribute to stat increases. These items can also be enhanced and refined, further strengthening a character’s attributes and contributing to long-term progression. This system aims to offer structured content cycles while tying item acquisition more closely to token use.

RAVN is primarily earned through gameplay once a player reaches level 45. At that stage, players gain access to RAVIUM, an in-game item that can be converted into RAVN through the game’s Token menu. RAVIUM can also be used directly to craft or purchase gear, giving players multiple options for how to use the resource. The ability to convert RAVIUM back into RAVN adds flexibility to the system and allows players to shift between item acquisition and token minting as needed.
This dual-use design encourages ongoing gameplay while also introducing a mechanism that links playtime with potential blockchain-based rewards. By maintaining in-game relevance for RAVIUM, Night Crows ensures that the new tokenomics system supports both casual and invested players.

In addition to gameplay, players can earn RAVN by staking the game’s core token, CROW. Staking is available on the official Night Crows website and does not include any lock-in requirements. This means players can start or stop staking at any time, reducing barriers to entry and encouraging broader participation.
The amount of RAVN earned through staking depends on the quantity of CROW staked. This staking system will remain active even during the two-week breaks between seasons, offering a steady method of token generation across all six planned seasons.

RAVN will also be listed on a new market within PNIX DEX called the Night Crows Season Market. Here, players can trade RAVN directly for WEMIX, offering a direct path from in-game activity to web3 asset exchange. This distinguishes RAVN from other in-game utility tokens, which typically can only be traded for CROW.
By enabling direct RAVN-to-WEMIX trading, Night Crows expands the utility of its in-game economy. This new market supports broader token liquidity and gives players additional ways to benefit from seasonal participation. It also reinforces the connection between in-game progress and the external blockchain market. The launch of RAVN follows several active in-game campaigns.
The ICE CROWS summer event began on July 7, bringing themed dungeons, limited-time weapon skins, and community activities. A new Season Pass was released on July 22, offering eight weeks of alchemy-themed rewards, legendary gear, and bonus check-in items. Additional weekly quests, guild events, and a discount on weapon style changes were also introduced during this period, setting the stage for the upcoming seasonal shift.

The introduction of RAVN on July 29 marks the beginning of Season One in Night Crows’ planned six-season roadmap. Each season will bring new seasonal gear, token usage opportunities, and market functions. Players will be able to earn RAVN through gameplay, staking, and trading, integrating blockchain value into daily in-game activities.
Night Crows continues to expand its web3 integration by connecting in-game systems with blockchain markets. The new seasonal tokenomics system is designed to support long-term progression while offering players flexible ways to participate in both the game and the surrounding token economy.
