Guild of Guardians (GoG) is celebrating its first anniversary with a major in-game event running from May 28 to June 11. The event is open to all players who have progressed past Dungeon 1-1-3 and includes a wide range of new content, gameplay changes, and limited-time rewards. As one of the largest updates since the game’s launch, the anniversary event reflects a year of continued development and engagement with the community.
New Guild of Guardians Event Marks Anniversary
Guild of Guardians is a free-to-play mobile role-playing game set in the fantasy world of Elderym. Players build teams of characters known as Guardians to explore dungeons, defeat enemies, and collect resources. The game blends traditional dungeon-crawling mechanics with web3 features, allowing users to earn, trade, and own digital in-game items. Each Guardian plays a distinct role in battle, such as tank, damage dealer, or support, and real-time combat requires players to build effective teams and adapt to different challenges. The game offers several modes, including player-versus-environment (PvE), player-versus-player (PvP), and rotating seasonal events.
To mark the one-year milestone, Guild of Guardians has introduced new gameplay elements and character updates as part of the event. Players can earn exclusive cosmetic items, unlock a new Guardian, and participate in time-limited game modes that offer enhanced rewards. The event is designed to appeal to both long-time players and those new to the game, with content structured to provide value at all levels of play.
One of the original Guardians, Lia, has been updated with both visual and functional improvements. Her healing and damage abilities have been increased, making her a more viable option in competitive and cooperative modes. Enhancements to her existing skills expand their effectiveness in battle, particularly in larger team-based encounters.
A new Guardian, Myra, has also been introduced as part of the event. She is available through the Summon Stones feature and is designed to complement current Endless mode buffs. Myra’s skills focus on damage mitigation, counterattacks, and survivability, giving her a flexible role in PvE content. Her inclusion provides players with new strategic options and broadens the pool of available characters for team composition.

The Arena now features a special event called Rise of the Founders, where teams that include Founder Guardians receive specific performance bonuses. These buffs include damage reduction, increased damage output, and slower energy gain for enemy teams. However, the same enhancements apply to opponents who also field Founder Guardians, introducing a layer of strategic complexity.
In Endless mode, temporary gameplay modifiers have been added to alter combat dynamics. These include mechanics that make summoned units immune to targeting, allow Guardians to dodge incoming attacks more frequently, and create opportunities for counterplay through taunts and evasion-based tactics. These changes aim to make the mode more challenging and varied during the event period.
The Anniversary Event includes a dual-track Event Pass with both free and premium options. The free track offers access to base rewards such as gold and summon items, while the premium track, priced at $29.99, provides additional items including an exclusive Guardian skin, in-game currency, and XP boosts. Players who joined the game before June 15, 2024, are also eligible to receive a commemorative avatar frame by logging in during the event.
New Guild of Guardians Event Marks Anniversary
Guild of Guardians has grown steadily since its launch, with regular content updates and gameplay improvements. The one-year anniversary event is a reflection of this ongoing development and the game’s commitment to maintaining an active player base. Players are encouraged to participate in daily activities to progress through the Event Pass and maximize their rewards before the event concludes on June 11. Any unclaimed items will not carry over after the event ends.
The anniversary event not only introduces new content but also reinforces the game’s position in the mobile and web3 gaming space. With additional gameplay depth and a range of unlockable content, the event serves as both a celebration and a preview of future updates in Guild of Guardians.
