Zillion Whales outlines new content and upcoming features for Wild Forest, including new units, maps, perks, and Lord NFT benefits as part of its web3 gaming roadmap.
Zillion Whales, the developer behind the web3 real-time strategy game Wild Forest, has released new details outlining the game's recent updates and upcoming roadmap for the summer and beyond. The information, which follows a recent AMA session, provides insight into the team’s ongoing development efforts aimed at improving player experience, introducing new content, and expanding engagement within the community.
Wild Forest is currently available as a free-to-play title on both Android and iOS platforms through the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. For players using PC, the game can be accessed through the Mavis Hub. As a web3 real-time strategy title, Wild Forest continues to integrate blockchain-based mechanics while focusing on user experience and community development.
New Content Coming to Wild Forest
In May, the Wild Forest team implemented several notable updates to existing features. The Bounty Board, first introduced in March 2025, was expanded to include new quest types such as Lord, Elixir, and Expedition Quests. These Advanced Tasks challenge players in different ways, such as using specific Elixirs in matches or sending rare units on Expeditions.
Lord Quests, in particular, are limited to Lord NFT stakers and provide more demanding challenges that come with higher rewards. The development team has indicated that more updates to the Bounty Board are expected, including the addition of one-time onboarding quests to help new players get started more easily.

Trophy Road was also overhauled to reduce the need for excessive grinding while improving the quality and variety of rewards. The revised system is expected to continue evolving, with future plans that include the introduction of higher-tier rewards, improved chest probabilities in upper leagues, and a smoother experience for first-time users.
Additional benefits were introduced for holders of the Lord NFT, including exclusive discounts on Battle Pass purchases. The team also noted that the newly launched Perk Reroll feature has seen significant usage, with over 2.6 million tokens spent during its first month. According to Zillion Whales, this shows the feature’s early popularity and player interest.
In terms of community engagement, the developers hosted the first creator-led tournament. The event reportedly resulted in over 3,500 new game installations in a single week, provided valuable feedback on game balance and onboarding, and encouraged participation from both existing and new players.
New Content Coming to Wild Forest
Throughout the summer, Wild Forest will receive ongoing content updates and improvements to user experience. The development roadmap includes new units, additional maps, fresh perks, and changes designed to improve player onboarding and in-game rewards.
According to the team, there will also be further enhancements for Lord stakers, though specific details on these benefits have not yet been shared. A new unit called the Drumkeeper was released on June 9 and is currently available to Lords through fragment minting.
It is scheduled to be added to the Battle Pass on June 23 and will later appear on Trophy Road and in the Castles mode. Additional planned updates for the remainder of June include a balance patch, discounts for ranking up as a Lord, a new community tournament series, and the introduction of Wild Shards in the in-game shop. Wild Shards will be accessible exclusively to Lord NFT holders.
New Content Coming to Wild Forest
Looking beyond the summer, Zillion Whales has outlined several features that are part of its long-term development strategy for Wild Forest. These include the introduction of a player-versus-environment (PvE) mode, expanded community events and tournaments, a Unit burn competition, and greater rewards tied to gameplay progression.
Details about Lands, a feature likely connected to future gameplay mechanics or in-game assets, are also expected at a later stage. While these features have been planned, the team has stated they intend to delay their release until market conditions are more favorable. This approach is intended to ensure these additions generate a stronger impact upon launch and can better support player growth and retention.
