Studio 369, known for its MetalCore IP, is expanding its offerings with MetalCore Arena, a new free-to-play idle battle game. This upcoming game will allow players to engage in league-based matches using customizable teams of mechanized units and infantry squads.
MetalCore Arena aims to provide a strategic gaming experience, building on the franchise’s sci-fi background by incorporating elements of blockchain gaming. The game will feature various league formats and tactical gameplay, with additional updates planned for the future.

MetalCore is a sci-fi MMO that features epic mech and PvPvE battles, deep crafting mechanics, and a player-driven economy. Set on the planet Kerberos, players must survive as foot soldiers, climb the ranks, and grow their arsenal of mechs and war machines. Notably, the crypto game is the first title built directly on the Immutable zkEVM.
MetalCore has won accolades such as the Global Blockchain Show’s Best Blockchain Game of the Year and our GAM3 2022 Award for Best Shooter Game. The game’s innovative “scanning” system allows players to craft new weapons and vehicles from blueprints obtained from fallen enemies, adding a unique layer to its gameplay.
MetalCore's Arena is designed as an immersive idle battle game where players engage in league-based matches. Players will set up customizable teams of mechanized units and infantry squads, each with unique abilities. The primary game mode available at launch will be Capture the Flag. In this mode, teams must capture the opponent’s flag while defending their own.
The game will include live commentary to enhance the competitive experience. Participants can join or create leagues of up to 20 players. They will be able to challenge one another up to three times daily in friendly skirmishes, which allows for tactical experimentation before entering ranked matches.
Players can also track their progress through leaderboards, daily battles, and by upgrading their bases. MetalCore Arena will be available for free download on Windows PCs, with recommendations for a mid-range device and stable internet connection to ensure optimal gameplay.

The game will feature a variety of league types added over time. Initial gameplay will focus on Capture the Flag, but future updates will introduce additional modes and league formats. Players will have access to the Intelligence Command Center, a tool that provides detailed data on opponents and matches to aid in strategic planning.
Players will use unit and vehicle cards to organize their team formations, which can be tailored for both attack and defense. This setup will allow players to adjust team aggression and employ various tactics. Units and vehicles will sustain damage over time, requiring resources for repairs and healing.
The game will offer a range of infantry units, each with distinct abilities and attributes, with new mechanized units and customization options to be added in future updates. Training sessions will be introduced later, allowing players to enhance their units' physical fitness, strategic abilities, and combat skills. Customization options will also include squad roles and formations.
MetalCore: Embrace the Chaos
The official release date for MetalCore Arena has not been announced. Updates on the game's development can be found on the official Discord server, initially used for the flagship shooter. It is anticipated that the new project will use the same blockchain technology, Immutable zkEVM.
Upon release, the game will include core features such as league-based gameplay, leaderboards, friendly matches, enemy squad data, match history, formations, tactics, and unit repair capabilities. Future updates are expected to introduce simulations, an in-game transfer market, garage improvements, foundational training for new recruits, and detailed asset profiles.
While specific play-to-earn features have yet to be detailed, players might expect rewards in the form of tokens and NFTs. You can visit the official MetalCore website and join the community for exclusive insights and more information.
