MetalCore's Open World Alpha 2 is set to bring a plethora of exciting new features and gameplay mechanics to enhance the player experience. The user interface has undergone significant updates and improvements, including an overhaul of the settings menu, map icons, and the Heads-Up Display. The art department has also made remarkable strides, with performance optimizations, new locations, lighting and fog treatments, updated weapon reticles, animations, and several world collision fixes.
In terms of gameplay, players can expect new missions added to Faction Bases, an updated First Time User Experience, more AI engagements in Mission Zones, and several new Mission Zones in various locations. AI Patrol Routes have been introduced, and various AI Mech stats have been tuned for combat. Teleport mechanics and stations are now available at multi-level structures, and there are adjustments to the availability of vehicles and infantry classes for progression.
Combat mechanics have also been refined, with adjustments made to homing missiles, fire rate and velocity of ballistics, lock-on and AI tracking improvements, and changes to turret engagement distances. Turrets have also been modified to have lower detection of infantry and are now better equipped for anti-armor combat. These updates and changes will provide players with a more engaging and immersive experience in MetalCore's Open World Alpha 2.
