MapleStory N promises to maintain the core game loop similar to its predecessor, MapleStory, but with several innovative changes aimed at enhancing player experience. The major modifications come in the form of a revamped growth structure and a redefined internal system. Notably, the meta for MapleStory N is set to deviate significantly from the original game, offering a fresh twist in terms of in-game content, jobs, and level caps.

The most striking distinction lies in the game's economic model, which aims to preserve the uniqueness and extend the utility of in-game items. Unlike in the original MapleStory where Cash Shops led to an unregulated influx of items, thereby diminishing their value, MapleStory N introduces a limited quantity for each item. This scarcity is expected to maintain the significance and value of the items.

The biggest difference from the existing MapleStory game is the economic system, mainly focused on preserving the uniqueness of items and extending their utility. Even though the content will be familiar to those who have played the game before, the experience will be quite different. Items becoming NFTs and the elimination of Cash Shops is just one example.

Adding another layer of complexity, MapleStory N is incorporating Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) into its economic system. Every in-game item will be 'NFT-ized', allowing for extended usability across the MapleStory Universe. This offers players the revolutionary ability to import their character NFTs and item NFTs from MapleStory N on PC to MapleStory N Mobile, and vice versa. The introduction of NFTs not only transforms the economic fabric of the game but also adds an element of cross-platform continuity, significantly enhancing the overall gaming experience.
