Legends of Elumia Migrates to Immutable

Legends of Elumia recently addressed community questions regarding its presence on the Ronin Network. While game access had been sold through Ronin under the previous studio, the game itself never migrated to the Ronin blockchain. Clarification was provided through a post on X and in the project's official Discord server. It was also confirmed that all $RON generated through the sale of game passes went directly to the players.

As part of community engagement, Triumph Games shared the results of a previously held raffle, confirming a prize pool of 6,754 $RON distributed equally among 10 winners. The studio noted that rewards would be issued once all necessary participant information is collected, emphasizing transparency and communication throughout the process.

About Legends of Elumia

One of the defining features of Legends of Elumia is its commitment to true digital ownership. Through blockchain technology, players have full control over their characters, pets, and in-game items. This model allows users to trade, sell, and interact with their assets in a decentralized economy, a feature that distinguishes web3 games from traditional MMORPGs.

Acquisition and Migration to Immutable

With the acquisition by Triumph Games, Legends of Elumia is undergoing a strategic migration from Ronin to the Immutable blockchain. The change in chain infrastructure reflects a broader shift in the game's development direction. Triumph Games has announced plans to introduce a free-to-play model, moving away from the previous structure that required users to own NFTs or purchase event-specific passes to access gameplay.

This new approach is aimed at making the game more accessible to a wider audience. By removing the requirement for web3 engagement as a condition of entry, the studio is positioning Legends of Elumia as a more inclusive title. The free-to-play model will be available on both PC and mobile platforms, though further technical and gameplay details are expected to be released in the coming months.

Triumph Games’ Direction and Role in Web3 Gaming

Triumph Games has positioned itself as a hybrid game developer and publisher with a focus on integrating web3 technology into traditional game formats. The studio's objective is to provide games that function in a familiar free-to-play manner while offering optional blockchain-based features such as asset ownership and decentralized trading.

The company’s first release, BattleRise, is a turn-based fantasy RPG available for free on Android and iOS with multi-chain capabilities. Triumph Games is also preparing to launch ArmourX, a third-person action RPG with looter shooter mechanics, which recently entered early access through HyperPlay and is expected to enter closed beta later this year.

In addition to its game development efforts, Triumph Games offers services including NFT design, strategic advising, and marketing support. The team comprises over 30 specialists with experience in engines such as Unity and Unreal, as well as blockchain technology. The company’s leadership includes industry veterans with a background dating back to 1998 and over 20 games released.

Redefining Player Engagement in Legends of Elumia

Originally launched in 2022, Legends of Elumia aimed to distinguish itself in the web3 gaming space through a model of true digital ownership. Players were able to own and trade characters, pets, and in-game items on the blockchain. This system enabled a decentralized in-game economy, setting it apart from conventional MMORPGs.

With the new ownership under Triumph Games, Legends of Elumia is expected to retain its blockchain-based asset ownership features while expanding its player base through a more inclusive design. While detailed plans for the game's monetization and structure have not been fully disclosed, Triumph Games has indicated that the future development will focus on accessibility and fairness, avoiding models that rely heavily on financial investment for competitive advantage.
