The developers of L3E7 have launched the second phase of the game's closed beta testing, taking place from May 15 to May 22. This new testing phase introduces multiple ways for players to earn a total of 50,000 $MNT tokens while also becoming eligible for a potential allocation of the upcoming $L3E7 tokens. The event is structured around gameplay performance, with three ranking categories determining how rewards will be distributed. L3E7, a 3D cyberpunk-themed metaverse built on web3 principles, combines play-to-earn mechanics with competitive multiplayer gameplay.
L3E7 Launches Second Closed Beta
L3E7 is recognized as the world’s first 3D location-based service game. Built with advanced rendering technology and designed with a cyberpunk theme, the game allows players to interact with a virtual world mapped onto a real-world geolocation framework. By combining location data with immersive 3D environments, L3E7 offers a unique gameplay experience that blends exploration, strategy, and competitive elements.
Players participating in the L3E7 closed beta can earn rewards by performing well in three ranking systems: Damage Rankings, Guild Battle Rankings, and Landmark Rankings. The Damage Rankings leaderboard is designed to reward individual players who deal the most damage in a single battle. A total of 40,000 $MNT tokens will be distributed among the top 500 players, with token amounts decreasing by rank. Higher-ranking participants will receive more tokens, while lower-ranking individuals can still earn smaller, yet guaranteed, amounts.
The Guild Battle Rankings offer rewards to clans that perform well as a team. The top three guilds will split a pool of 6,000 $MNT tokens. These tokens will be equally divided among up to 30 members of each qualifying guild. The top guild receives 3,000 $MNT, the second receives 2,100 $MNT, and the third guild earns 900 $MNT, allowing active participants within each group to benefit from coordinated team performance.
The Landmark Rankings category introduces four new in-game locations based on real-world coordinates in New York City. These include Dorchester Towers, 101 West End Avenue, The Glenham, and the News Corp. Building. Players who compete in battles at these landmarks are eligible for a share of 4,000 $MNT tokens. The top five players per location who deal the most damage will receive token rewards, with the amount varying by placement.
L3E7 Launches Second Closed Beta
Beyond the direct $MNT rewards, players can also work toward earning $L3E7 tokens by collecting an in-game currency known as Stardust. This feature contributes to a broader airdrop allocation, with 3% of the total $L3E7 supply reserved for players across all testing phases. Stardust is earned through standard gameplay during the beta period, and players can increase their total collection by staking specific NFTs. Each NFT type provides a bonus percentage that multiplies a player’s base Stardust earnings. For example, Guardians NFTs add a 10% bonus, Star Alliance Vanguards offer 80%, Worlds NFTs increase earnings by 100%, and Supreme Councils provide the highest multiplier at 200%.
Despite being labeled a closed beta, this testing phase is accessible to the general public at no cost. Interested players can download L3E7 on Windows or Mac through the HyperPlay platform. A mobile version is also available on the Google Play Store, though access is currently limited to users in the United States, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.
For Mac users, the game requires a device with an M1 chip or newer, and the Rosetta emulator must be installed for the game to run properly. In-game purchases made with $MNT or ETH during the beta are conducted through the Mantle and Arbitrum networks. According to the official announcement, all purchases made during this phase will be fully refunded to the original wallet address, allowing players to explore game features without financial risk.
L3E7 Launches Second Closed Beta
The launch of L3E7’s second closed beta follows the Mobile Vanguard Test and the initial closed beta phase, both of which required access codes. This new phase removes that restriction, making the game accessible to a broader range of players interested in blockchain-based gaming. The developers have emphasized that this phase marks a significant step in making L3E7 more open and community-oriented. It also comes shortly after L3E7 received a grant from the Arbitrum Foundation, further highlighting the project’s growing presence in the web3 gaming ecosystem.
