KOR Protocol, an ecosystem backed by Animoca Brands, has sold out its limited collection of 2,000 Founder’s Pass NFTs. These NFTs, designed to grant holders VIP access to curated experiences and early access to ecosystem tools, were offered on a free-mint basis and sold out quickly during the first-come-first-serve phase. The collection, which saw 1,406 NFTs claimed through guaranteed spots, reflects strong demand within the community.
KOR Protocol Logo
KOR Protocol is co-founded by renowned artists, including DJ deadmau5, and serves as the parent company of Pixelynx and KORUS. The platform is designed to give creators and artists greater control over their intellectual property (IP) through on-chain management, distribution, and monetization tools. It also promises exclusive experiences for its NFT holders, including early access to KOR’s suite of creator tools, which are set to be launched later this year.
One of the core benefits for NFT holders is priority access to brand collaborations and intellectual property initiatives. Notable projects include a partnership with Netflix’s hit show Black Mirror and curated music experiences featuring top DJs, artists, and labels through KORUS.
Build the Largest On-Chain IP Economies
The Founder’s Pass NFT collection provides a host of benefits beyond early access to the ecosystem's tools. Holders will be among the first to try KOR Protocol’s AI-driven applications, which are designed to help artists manage their brands and IPs securely on-chain. This includes automated licensing, royalties, and the ability to remix games, music, videos, and images through platforms like KOR Player.
KOR Player, a key component of the ecosystem, allows creators to access a sound library vault where they can upload and remix intellectual property. This AI-powered tool enables artists to distribute their work while retaining control over their IP, further showcasing KOR Protocol’s commitment to supporting creators in monetizing their content.
KOR Protocol Snapshot
KOR Protocol has formed partnerships with over 100 international companies, including leading brands such as Beatport, Japanese telecom giant KDDI, and Banijay, the producer behind shows like Black Mirror and Peaky Blinders. These partnerships have led to interactive on-chain gaming experiences and mints that engage global fan communities.
Additionally, KOR Protocol has collaborated with major players in the entertainment and technology sectors, such as Niantic (creators of Pokemon Go). These partnerships enable KOR to offer cutting-edge experiences and expand the platform’s reach in the entertainment and music industries.
KOR Protocol Backers and Partners
The native KOR Token, set to launch later in 2024, will power the entire KOR Protocol ecosystem. This cryptocurrency token will offer a new way for creators and users to engage with the platform. As Founder and CEO Inder Phull noted, "The token will power the entire KOR Protocol ecosystem, and the Founder’s Pass will be your VIP ticket to accessing it all live and direct."
KOR Protocol's successful sale of its Founder’s NFTs marks a significant milestone in its journey to reshape the creator economy. By combining exclusive VIP experiences with advanced tools for managing and monetizing intellectual property, KOR is positioning itself as a leading platform in the web3 space.
