The Guild of Guardians, a mobile dungeon RPG, is integrating eight esports teams, Cloud9, Fnatic, NAVI, Ninjas in Pyjamas, NRG, SK Gaming, T1, and Team Liquid, into their universe. The process of integrating these teams with vastly different characteristics and identities required cross-collaboration and careful consideration, to truly encapsulate each team’s unique attributes, while seamlessly integrating into the world of Elderym. Upon launch, each esport Hero will be fully playable in-game, with exclusive utilities unique to this collection. This comes in the wake of the game's September announcement with the aforementioned esports teams.
Owning a Guild of Guardians esports Hero will grant holders access to special leaderboard competitions that include exclusive rewards, in-game rewards such as unique cosmetics and other unique digital collectibles, as well as out-of-game rewards such as limited edition merch opportunities and VIP access to various web3 gaming events around the world.
In the lead-up to and during the sale, Guild of Guardians is giving away loads of prizes and rewards through community quests. These include signed esports jerseys, NFT airdrops, and community quests where players can win token airdrops and different NFTs by completing various community engagement activities. The person who owns the most esport digital collectibles will get to design their own playable hero or pet in Guild of Guardians.
The sale will be open for one week and will be accessible via the platform's marketplace. Each esport Hero will cost approximately $99 USD, payable in Ethereum. The sale will have a supply cap of 16,000 Heroes in total.
After the sale, the collection will not be offered again, but players will be able to purchase and exchange Heroes on secondary marketplaces, including Immutable X, TokenTrove, Rarible, and AQUA.xyz. Each summon has a chance to be a “special edition” color variant, with the following probabilities: 10% Warrior, 2% Elite and a 1 of 1 Mythic.
